Pleasantview Round 7 - The Burbs - John and Jennifer

Ah looky.  It is elderly John and Jennifer.  All 4 of their children are either living with significant others, or away at University. What happened last round?  It was mostly a teen-aged hormonal blur of dating.  The last two at home, twins Ida and Harry Burb dated kids in the hood to the likes of Margaret Caliente, Eddie Dreamer, George McCarthy, and Robert Wolosenko.  Ida and Harry ended the round headed off to University, which means we will see them before this round is over.  EA Benny the dog passed away, having made many pretty babies for the neighborhood.

Family - Raise 20 Puppies or Kittens

John is perm plat only because his aspiration meter is full.  He is 75 years old, and looks like he may have is Grim party this round.  If ASimWen is counting right, counting the babies on the lot now, he only needs 3 more animal babies to reach his LTW.  It will be close.

Fortune - Become the Law

Jennifer is already perm plat too from having earned $100,000 years ago.  Her wishes will not be fulfilled unless she rolls woohoo.  So this play will center around trying to get enough animals raised for John's LTW before his Grim party.

Monday

Right off the bat John wants Cleaning 9.  Luckily, he had the scanner gun to use, and was only a sliver way from having it.  At 11:00 am:

This kitten grew up.  John immediately called Animal Services to come get him.  An hour later they dropped of this puppy:

Looks like a cutie patooty!  Two to go!

Tuesday

Dang.  Thought John was a Captain Hero...he is only a Desk Sargent.  Boy he made a bad decision here.

Tuesday

??? haha Just running through the day to get to Wednesday.  Well, John and Jennifer had people over to get some friendships going.  ASimWen noticed that John only needed one more friend to get promoted.

Wednesday

John called out for another baby, then headed off to work.  Jennifer was there to accept.

Two more grow up, and welcome the new baby.

Woo, go you John!  Finally John is TOC!

These two head to the car from Animal Control.  Good bye!

Oh looky is walking the dog!  It is Tom Lothario walking Bonzo!  Bonzo sees the Animal Control Officer picking up the cats.

Thursday

Both Jennifer and John had the day off from work, and John decided to give this young man some pointers in body skill.  Quickly made a new friend.  No kittens or puppies grew up on this day.

Friday

Friday was the Big Day.  One more pet grew up. 

Yay John!!!!  John was at work when this happened.  ASimWen loves it when a Sim gets LTW and they aren't on the lot.  hahaha!

A second pet grew up.  WooHoo.   This pet is named Johnnie NPC.  His mom is Tina Burb, and his granny is Abbey, who is still on the lot.  How sweet.  :)

Granny Abbey growling at the cleaning bot.  With so many animals on the lot peeing all over the place, a cleaning bot is essential.

Sadly Jennifer was demoted.  However at this point in her life it didn't make much difference in anything.

Saturday

 Of course the robots break down every now and then.  Butler Ifran Lam is on the job fixing it.  Wait.  Ifran Lam?  Isn't he the same butler at the Calientes???  How is this guy buttling all day long at two different places?  hahaha!

The last kitten grows up.  His name is Quinn.  He was born at Goth Manor this round, his mom is Lady Goth, and his dad is Phillip Marlow Goth.  The reason this is mentioned is because his parents are both from the pet store, which means Quinn can breed with any other cat born in the neighborhood, save those from his own litter.  :)

Sunday

ASimWen did not work John and Jennifer hard this day.  They were allowed to play on the computer, play with the dog and cat, and nap.  John did have to go to work, but he was in a good mood when he came home.

Winding down the week, late Sunday night Jennifer decided to do a little stargazing.  She was now 77 years old, and John was 82.  Their Grim parties did not take place, and each only has a sliver of life left.  It will probably occur in round 8.  That's a good thing, they have children in University who will need a place to live.  The old homestead will be ready to go on.

Early morning supper, eating about 3 AM.  They are happy without a care in the world.

And this is where a relaxing play with the Burbs end. 

Next up:  The Grass and Kari (Oldie) Wilkie lot.  Grass is a PlantSim from Leo Wilkie, second husband to Coral Oldie.  His wish, as an elder, was to marry off six.  The only way to do it was PlantSim style.  Kari is an ex Countess.  Yes, a vamp.
