Well well, here we are at another founding family of Pleasantview. The Goths. However, at this time it is the Dreamers, as Cassandra married Darren Dreamer. They had one child, William who is not married, and will not be the heir. A Goth must carry on, so Alexander's son Henry will be moving in.

Last Round - Well William returned from University, and subsequently completed two careers medical and science. He earned the gold in fishing and flower arranging, and received the hobby plaque in nature and arts and crafts. Darren received the gold badge in gardening and was instrumental in filing for the run away Alegra kitty. He gladly paid a young man 91 simoleons for returning her. She then passed away a couple of days later. Cassie reached her second TOC in Slacker, which was incidentally her LTW at the time. Three litters of kittens were born for a total of 6 contributed to the neighborhood pet pool.
Now we have three Sims who are perm plat, no one to fulfill wishes for. This should be a fun and relaxing play.
Darren settled in for a morning/afternoon of watching TV. William hit the computer to see if there was a job open in Journalism (no) and then headed to the basement to join his mother on the skilling benches. Cassie was working toward the tinkering hobby plaque.
Darren decided to take a nap around 5:30 and headed upstairs. But he didn't make it to bed.
Buh-bye, Darren. Have a happy afterlife. William made it upstairs to see the spectacle, but Cassie did not.
Darren had a lovely and full life with Cassie and William.

Tuesday William took a look on the computer to see if there was a job in Journalism.
Yep. He grabbed it. Looked like by the schedule he had his first day off.
William decided to start writing a novel. A murder mystery, figured it would be good practice for his job in Journalism.
Meanwhile...
Cassie now had max enthusiasm in Robotics, and a gold badge. Heck. She could build a servo now if she wanted. However the Goth butler, Charlie Schweber does a good job and is lower maintenance than a Servo. There will be no robot in the Goth house.
However, she knew someone who could use one of these. She decided to start making this Servo to give away as a gift.
Grim made a second visit to the Goths. This certainly wasn't on anyone's wish list, namely Cymmi the cat. It was time for him to go join his first mate Alegra in kitty heaven. Natalie Caliente his second mate was sad. Natalie is 3 days from elderhood.
William immediately ran up to the pet store and bought Phillip Marlow Goth and Lady Goth. They are both Libras. No one in this house has any pet related wishes, but the pet pool in Pleasantview needs fed.
They made themselves right at home. Get some rest now kitties because you are gonna need it!
The kitties were busy all right! Kittens were on the way. Congratulations, you are new kitty parents!
In the meanwhile William dove into his new profession/hobby of writing, and received a coveted invitation to the Desirable Discourse.
Cassandra finished the Servo and stashed it in her backpack. It would be given away later.
Wednesday evening rolled around, and that meant it was family night. Cassie had not seen her brother Alexander in a long time, and had not chatted with her sister in law Daisy in forever. The crew was invited over for dinner. (Note Fred Goth in the gray. Dated Emma Copur over and over).
Cassie was especially glad to see Henry Goth, who would be moving into Goth Manor upon graduation from University.
William made blackened catfish for dinner. It was a big hit.

Cassie and Alexander spend some time watching TV together. It had been so long since they had sister/brother time.
It was time for Henry and William get to know each other. William passed on what he knew about Nature, as Darren had left healthy fruit trees and rich garden plots. William was ensuring that he would still be able to live here when Henry became caretaker of Goth Manor.
Thursday William finished his book.
He received $2965 simoleons for it, and it was a best seller.
William and Cassie went shopping with that extra dough, buying new outfits.
Beau Broke didn't find William's conversation about grilled cheese exciting. So far, William had found no one who would listen.
He managed to influence Cassie to make a platter of grilled cheese upon returning home. Cassie decided they weren't entirely bad, and had one too.
Early Friday morning kittens were born! Woo! William dragged out of bed and called Animal Control to come get them even before he had a chance to see them and fall in love with them. Then asked Phillip Marlow and Lady to try for more kittens. More were on the way.

Saturday morning William decided to go downtown, and ended up at FM. He saw Mrs. Crumplebottom. Will knew there was Crumplebottoms buried in the family cemetery. She had no interest in talking about family.
He met Diva Caryl Knight and Mr. Big Christopher Tsvirkunov.
Caryl had a friend who she thought Will should meet. He decided to take Caryl up on her offer and gave Caryl his number to pass to Danielle.
William found that he and Florence DeLarosa had two bolts in common and a little flirting happened, but nothing really happened.
Upon returning home after the outing, William found his next dream job in the paper. He snatched it up.
Well Goth Manor in high gear with pet generation. Woo! Three more kittens born early Sunday morning.
And yes, Phillip Marlow and Lady tried again, and yes, were successful. Who knows how many babies are in the works!
Early Monday morning, William went off to work. If you look closely, there are three Goth ghosts haunting. Cassie hopped out of the carpool, and William hopped in. Luckily did not get a fright on his way to the car!
Monday is a relaxing day for Cassie. No skilling, no studying, just doing what ever she wanted to. Then she remembered, She had a gift in her back pack. That Servo. She makes a call.
Cassie invited Emma Copur over for some girl time, talking and getting caught up.
Gossiping. The fact that Emma's father is Cassie's old flame did not seem to hinder this friendship.
Cassie presented Emma with the Servo. It was her little way of saying, all is right with the world. Glad your father found happiness in Ivy. Emma went home, feeling comforted.
Mother and son spend time together talking and laughing. Then it was time.

Well, Cassie spread a little cash around. Some. She was 79 years old.
I over played this lot by about 11 hours. I knew Cassie was going to go on Monday evening, and did not want to wait a whole round for her passing because I needed a slot in the house for Henry to go to upon graduation from University. I did not know how many kittens the cats had baking in the oven. The obvious choice was to go ahead and play it though.

A nice update for the Goth/Dreamer house. Bye bye to Cassandra and Darren, they had successful and full lives. The cats are certainly pumping out a lot of kittens at the moment. :)
ReplyDeleteHa yeah, the cats are. All the Sims in the neighborhood who have the Raise 20 need a pool of animals to draw from if it looks like they can't work in 20 the old fashioned way!
