Pleasantview Round 7 - Plantsim Ranch

Hi there!  Well we are finally on a lot in this neighborhood that doesn't have any of the original Pleasantview Sims living on it.  These are descendants (sort of) of Coral Oldie.  Her second husband, townie Leo Wilkie had an LTW to marry off six.  The only way he could do it at his advanced age was to have plantsim babies.  Each baby upon growing up wished for romance out of the wishing well in order to marry right away.  Here one of the girls got Mitch Wolosenko the grocery delivery guy, and the other girl got Brian Jordan, a YA.  Get re-acquainted:

Romance / Family - Wants to be a Hall of Famer

First wishes:  Go swimming, have a party, for Alexander Goth:  be friends with and play with.  Mitch has had troubles with his career, at one point he had reached nearly the top and had to start over due to being fired.  Poor guy.  He will turn into a sexy senior Sim this round.  He is currently an All star.  His wife:

Sunflower (Wilkie) Wolosenko

Pleasure / Popularity - Have 50 Dream Dates

Sunflower is perm plat due to reaching her LTW of Become a Professional Party Guest.  Her father is Leo Wilkie who's LTW was to marry off 6.  The ony way to do it was through producing plantsim babies. Upon growing up each plantsim would wish for romance out of the wishing well, and immediately get married.  Mitch popped out of the well for her.  Her wishes will not be fulfilled unless she rolls woohoo.

Robert Wolosenko

Family - Raise 20 Puppies or Kittens

Yes.  That again, raise 20.  Anyway, Robert is the oldest son of Sunflower and Mitch.  Oh my...looks like Mr. Spock.  He will age up to either YA or Adult this round.  First wishes:  Go to Uni, and sneak out with one of these individuals:  Thomas Lothario, (Don's son), Wally Tellerman (Lucy (Burb) Tellerman's son) and townie Marylena Hamilton which he has a crush on and a two bolt attraction.  He cakes up in 4 days

Alice Wolosenko

Fortune - Become Criminal Mastermind

The second child of Mitch and Sunflower.  First wishes:  Sneak out with any one of these guys:  Minnie Pleasant, Thomas Lothario, Gale Lothario and Albert Goth.  Oh my.  Age undetermined. 

Louis Wolosenko

Fortune - Become a Prestidigitator

Mitch and Sunflowers youngest. Wishes:  Get a job in the Military, sneak out with Clarence Pleasant, be friends with cousin Annie Jordan, and get a skill point.  Age undetermined.

Uni YA Brian Jordan, former University student

Knowledge / GCS - Wants to become a Prestidigitator

Brian was originally a Uni YA and popped out of the wishing well for plantsim Sharon (Wilkie) Jordan.   He is perm plat having already become the Hand of Posiedon.  He is currently a Round Table Knight.

Knowledge - Wants to become a Prestidigitator

Sharon is only showing two wishes, the other two are blank  She wants to woohoo (locked in) and give backrub to Brian.

Annie Joran

Knowledge - Become a Space Pirate

Sharon and Brian's first and only.  First wishes:  Reach cleaning and creativity 1, play with Fred Goth, and get silver badge in fishing.  Age undetermined.

I need to mention something here.  This family...not lot...is borked.  I am going to try to play it. I noted last round about the neighborhood corruption and that things didn't seem right with this family as a result.  Plantsim Sharon had lost her plantsim hair (see the family moniker at the top of this chapter) and that was all I found.  I thought that wasn't bad, and I played anyway.

Play went well, the three youngest kids grew up, no problem.  Ended the round.  Kept seeing the kids around the neighborhood as I played other lots.  The bad problems started when I opened the lot this round.  First thing I noticed was this:

 
Alice, Louis, and Annie standing in front of the house like this.  I thought they were smustling.  Nope.  When I hit "live" they had children's voices and started playing cops-n-robbers.  Then I noticed their aspirations were 'grow up' and their age was on teen as zero days past.  They aged up to teen toward the end of last round.  Robert, the oldest of everyone, was fine and in the house.  He grew up before the neighborhood corruption all those years ago.  Noted that plantsim Sharon still had black hair.  Also the plantsim sisters did not have all their wish slots filled in.  Immediately shut the game down and opened SimPE.  These three kids, Alice, Louis, and Annie were listed as "child" with two days to go to grow up.  I changed their settings to "teen" with as many days to grow up to adult as I could discern by reading last round.  Saved.

I opened the game, went into the lot and stashed career rewards in backpacks, and that was it.  Hit live, and the kids acted normally now, as teens and were in the bedroom talking together as if they had just gotten out of bed.  But their age count was still messed up.  The game showed they grow up in 8 days.  It should be 13 or 14, depending on what I put in SimPE. And, their aspiration still showed "grow up" with no LTW set.  The plantsim sisters still did not have all their wishes filled in.  Saved.    Went to neighborhod view, and moved the family out.  Bulldozed the PlantSim Ranch house.  Then I placed the family in a new lot. Sharon had her plantsim hair back, but that was all.  The kids were still messed up with the aspiration and age, and the plantsim sisters still did not have all their wishes.

So ASimWen will play along and see what happens.

This is a a house that ASimWen built for use in Prosperity Falls. The kids were immediately sent off to school.  It should be noted here that the school hours for the child/teen kids is 9-1, what it should be for teens.  We will see what happens when they come home, hopefully everything will spin and fix them.

This is Plantsim Sharon and Brian.  Woohoo works fine.  This fulfilled wishes for Sharon.

Their wishes didn't shake up...I tell you what the kids are four meanies.  The first thing they did was keep giving each other noogies.  Gale Lothario came home on the bus with them, and she received noogies too.  I checked their personalities....all of them have only one nice point, except for Robert.  He has a whopping two.

Not sure when this was...but Louis (on the left) cooked this food.  This house is a crazy house.

This must have been Tuesday...the grown ups are having dates, as somebody must have rolled it.  Yes, I was just playing through and watching intently for anything amiss with the programming.

Alice used the wishing well as she had a want to ask a Sim on a date.  She got the newspaper kid.  She managed to whip in a noogie to the poor guy before ASimWen could get on with the fulfilling of wishes!

Mitch aged up....

As did Sunflower.  As you can see, she and Mitch were in the middle of a date.

New LTW - Become Chief of Staff

Her sister Sharon promoted and was now perm plat.  yay.

At this point it was now Friday....and Robert was aging just fine...but the last three...Annie, Alice and Louis were still stuck on 8 days to grow up, and no aspiration.  *sigh*

*ASimWen shuts down laptop, sleeps on it*

NOTE
By now it is Friday morning for the Wolosenkos/Jordans.  I had been playing this lot quickly concerned about the problems with the three younger kids.  Just playing it through.  I then realized that, using cheats, the missing aspirations for Alice, Annie, and Louis could be set.  Done.  Then using Pescado's bat box, the LTW could be set.  Now the only thing left was to get the aging thing fixed.  Couldn't figure out how to set the ages.  However SimPE was tallying the ages correctly.  It just wasn't showing in the game.  It will be interesting to see what happens when the kids age up.

So on Friday Robert was showing a wish to ask a Sim on a Date.  He called Margaret Caliente, the girl who wants to woohoo 20 Sims.  Margaret in Nina's daughter.

5 wishes done in no time....Robert sends Margaret on her way.  He is solid in platinum.

ASimWen's attention turned else where, and then a message popped:  Sims To Age Up.  ???  Zero in on Robert.  The guy aged up, and ASimWen totally missed it.

Family - Raise 20 Kittens or Puppies

Hi grown up Robert.  Please don't cry about not going to Uni.  You didn't wish for it enough.  AND you drew the most favorite LTW in this game....RAISE 20!!!  GAAAhhhhh!!!!!  Why????

Oh my Robert.  How masterful you look standing in the middle of your family.  Don't get used to it...you are moving out.  Because of that darned LTW.

Robert's drama over, it was time to try to fulfill some wishes, now that ASimWen was getting a hold on the problems with the three younger kids and feeling more confident about things.

Alice used the wishing well again to "Ask Sim On Date" and was delivered Orlando Centowski.  heh.  He is starting to get around!  5 wishes fulfilled.

Annie ran a gammut of "get creativity skills".  Normally ASimWen would set it up right with thinking caps and someone giving lessons to hurry it along, but she was just quickly sat down in the chair to get the process started.  She continually rolled wishes for creativity.  After 5 were in, an exhausted Annie went to bed.

Poor Louis went to bed in green, no wishes fulfilled for him.  And, Mitch had plenty of wishes fulfilled dating Sunflower.  Woo.

Saturday

Since poor Louis didn't get any wishes fulfilled on Friday, he was top priority on this day.  First he played the violin.

Then he rubbed the magic lamp.

And wished for beauty.

Alice followed the same scenario..but didn't play the violin (two creativity skill points) as beautifully as Louis did.  (seven skill points).  This hurt ASimWen's ears so Alice quickly moved on to her next wish.

Her wish was for money.  The wish that keeps on giving all day.  Then it hit.  She wanted to go on a date.

Auntie Sharon interrupted Alice's wishing streak with winning the hobby plaque in Film and Literature.  This was very easy, as she sat under the plant light at the computer all night long and wrote books.

This hapless townie, La Shawn Cameron, was walking by and was influenced by Annie to come in and cook for them.  Since Robert moved out, there was no grown ups around who could cook.  La Shawn made lunchmeat sandwiches which the kids gobbled up.

Well would you looky at that.  Annie wanted a turn with the wishing well, and she received a different paper boy than Alice did.  5 wishes in.  As Annie was on her way out to the wishing well, Alice picked up the phone to call her newspaper boy dude for a date. This is what happened...

Sisters double dating with paperboys.  In the garage.  Didn't want to be seen just in case an old love came strolling by.

Don't think I have ever seen two paperboys on the same lot at the same time, much less dating at the same time.  hahaha!

Louis called up Bertha Goth...oh my...

Three bolt attraction!  Hmmmm...at any rate.  Oh but wait.  Louis wished for beauty from the genie.  So this might be a false positive.  All the kids got in 5 wishes before midnight.

By now it was Sunday night to Monday morning.  Louis threw wish after wish for logic skills, and his mom Sunflower was on hand to instruct Louis in logic. And it was great so she could stand under the plant light all night.  Louis made it to level 6.

Having written three books and winning the hobby plaque in film and literature, Sharon moved on to robot making and tinkering all night long....under the plant light.  She will adge up to elder next round.

And the visit with the Wolosenkos end with Alice doing some yard work while waiting for the school bus.  ASimWen loathes to admit it but all the kids in the house were downright mean.  Like the Pleasant twins!  If left to their own devices for only a minute, they were giving each other (and their dates!) noogies and picking arguments.  So they had to be kept busy.  Super Simming control on ASimWen's part.

None of these kids will be going to university unless that changes next round.  Heck, none of them have even wished to go to private school.  Clearly, getting educated to get ahead in life is not their agenda.

Ending wishes:

Mitch  - The poor guy.  He is a senior citizen now, and is 58 years old.  All his life he wanted to be a Hall of Famer.  He has been fired and had to start over at the bottom, and has been demoted a couple of time.  Poor guy!  He should be allowed to retire by now.  But he is going to keep chugging along.  He is now a Coach...will hopefully finish off this career next round.  What does he want:  To ask a Sim on a date (locked in), eat toaster pastries, dance with someone, and play violin.

Alice - Very pretty yet she is a Mean Girl.  ASimWen can just imagine her being mean at school.  Ugh.  What does she wish for?  Go fishing, play violin, talk about hobbies and play marco polo. 

Annie - At first ASimWen thought Annie was the underdog, but she is just as bad as Alice.  She wants to go hiking, fishing.  She wants to buy a drum kit and talk about hobbies.

Louis - He hasn't been bad about doing stuff autonomously,  except whipping out noogies on his sister and cousin every now and then.  He wants logic 7, buy a drum kit and a bass, and get a bronze in robotics.

Next lot is another PlantSim lot - Silvermaple and Brittany (Upsnot) Wilkie, with their daughter Bertha.  Yes, another Bertha.  ASimWen should open SimPE and change her name.....EDIT:  Yes.  Opened SimPE.  This Bertha is now Ricki. 

Remember, keep on Simming after family time.
