Veronaville Round 4 University

Only one Sim in University this round, Aubrey Capp.

Fortune - Earn $100,000
Aubrey is the son of Reagan and Cornwall Capp.  He apparently kept a wish for University a good amount of the time he was a teen, so here he is at Sim State. Go you, Aubrey!

First thing, it is off to University Way Shops to get a new look.

Got him some manly stubble and gained more of an academic look with some mussed up hair and some specs.  Also darkened up the eyebrows a little, got rid of the delicate arches. He seemed to like it.

First wishes:

Ah.  He holds a wish to get the Gaming hobby plaque. Also wants to go to class, study, and have his twin Avalon join him in University.  Well since there is a pool table handy...might as well work on that hobby plaque.  First wish fulfilled:  Go to class.

Secret Society member Chuck Dalls joins Aubrey in a game of pool.

Freshman Year

Back at the dorm after eating and fulfilling three more simple wishes, he sat down to play some chess, hitting number 5.  Now he would be allowed to skill up to meet requirements for class.

Chess - Game of Champions

Not only did he realize his wish to get the Gaming hobby plaque, he also maxed logic skill, getting two super wishes out of the way.

Aubrey was so confident in his gaming skills now, he challenged his brother Elgar to a gaming championship at Games of Glory.

So how did that happen.  Elgar obviously does not have max enthusiasm in gaming as he doesn't have the special glow. Elgar won the $747 prize and bragging rights.  Aubrey lost 1250 aspiration points.  So sad.

At this point there was a day where none of his wishes could be done.  He was wishing for his twin Avalon and his cousin Erlina to join him in University, he wanted to finish Freshman year, and he wanted to get on dean's list.  None of that was possible, unless ASimWen took on another Sim in Uni and didn't want to do that, as those two Sims in question had not wished to go to Uni.

At any rate, gaming sadness was soon left behind, as his wish to finish freshman year was realized.

Yes he enjoyed going to class in his pajamas.  His wishes upon moving into his sophomore year:  play marco polo, talk about hobbies, blog about games, play chess, and play computer games.

Sophomore Year

There is a pattern here with Aubrey's wishes.  Upon rising he always wants to talk about hobby, play chess, blog about games, and play games.  Fulfilling those is replaced by buying things which he cannot afford to do.  Off to class, and returning spins up the same wishes he had on awake, taking away the buy me buy me wishes.  Makes it easy to play him, but is monotonous.

Heh the SS came for him without much fan fare.

After three days of run of the mill gaming wishes granted:

Aubrey completed the sophomore year choosing not to change his aspiration and winning a large wish done.  After that:

Junior Year

Back to the same 'ol, same 'ol.  Play a computer game, marco polo, talk about hobby, play chess and blog about games.  *sigh*.  lol

FINALLY on day two of Spring, Aubrey spun up "Ask Sim On A Date" .  WOOHOO!!!!

This girl  Trista Futa.  Yes.  Another Trista in the neighborhood.  Trista had been throwing hearts for Aubrey since Frosh year.

Two bolt attraction = LOVE.  :)  ASimWen is so relieved now maybe all this gaming wishes can take a hike for a while.

Awww what a cute couple.  Erm....woah....

Aubrey really loves her.  Rolled engagement.  According to ASimWen's rules, it must be locked in and done.  :)  (thus how Benedick Monty got engaged to townie Trista back in the hood and won't move on that engagement and roll marriage.....or maybe that is because he is a Romance Sim...).

Aubrey is warning his future bride about his gaming addiction....

Senior Year

Aubrey is starting to show school stress.  He wants to do nothing but play games and talk about it.  At one point he rolled "go fishing" but it quickly rolled away.   He did get on Deans List which fulfilled a nice wish for him and got a "Earned $10,000 simoleons" marker, being a Fortune Sim is important.

Wishes upon entering Senior year:

Graduate, and graduate with honors, talk about hobby, play chess and marco polo.  Hm.  Still three gaming wishes.

FISHING

After class, Aubrey rolled fishing.  ASimWen quickly locked it in, and off he went.  A large mouth bass was caught making him so happy.  (And ASimWen!!)  At that point he wanted to invite someone over and buy a vacation home.  Well, the second home couldn't be done but he sure could invite someone over.

Dad was called.  Cornwall had been calling Aubrey to keep in touch with his son, but Aubrey was unresponsive.  This was the perfect opportunity for the two to connect again.

Cornwall was glad to see Aubrey again.  They watched some TV..

Hung out with some of Aubrey's friends and had a meal together...

And they sang kareoke together.  It was a fun day.

Gaming wish after gaming wish was fulfilled.  Finally the big day came.

Graduation!  A push was put on to get BSOC, but didn't happen.  However he will go home with more friends than he had when he started University.

Go you, Aubrey!  See you back in Veronaville next round!

And that's it for round 4 Veronaville.

Current Scoring:

Have fun everyone, and keep on Simmin!

  1. That was four "years" neatly summed up! I don't understand what this means: "A push was put on to get BSOC, but didn't happen." What is BSOC, and how does one put a push on it?
So nice to see Cornwall and Regan have children in your game; Regan did not live long in my game, I'm afraid!

    1. Big Sim On Campus. That is have X number of friends. He didn’t get enough I didn’t start trying for it until the last semester of his senior year.

    2. Oh, thank you! I can't remember whether I've ever had a Sim reach that goal.

  2. A nice successfully set of time at university for Aubrey. Glad he broke out of the gaming haze to wish for someone after a while. It will be interesting to see what happens with that later.
