Yup the people look familiar in this picture. Goneril and Albany have already been played this round, but Ariel has not. If you will recall, she was asked to move back home right at the end of the Goneril and Albany play. So here we go.

Benedick immediately agrees to come over. Hmmm...on Ariel's mind now? Woohoo in bed, (locked in) play with Benedick, tell inside joke to Benedick, get a job in Athletic or Culinary, and meet someone new. Sounds like this is just a booty call. Albany will have to drag himself out of bed so it is available to Ariel and Benedick. Albany is due to go to work an a couple of hours anyway.
Yes, Ariel missed Benedick. Looky at that big ol' sparkler on his finger.
Well. Looks like Benedick held the "woohoo" wish as well. No chimes, but that doesn't mean anything, Risky WooHoo is installed.
Albany reaches TOC again....he had reached it last visit but got demoted. Looky who he brought home. Beatrice Monty.
Rod Capp
Monday was Rod's birthday. Wishes upon aging up: Buy a toy, learn to walk, and be played with and tickled by his mom. First fulfilled: buy a toy. To be replaced by a slew of wishes to do things with his mom.
Tuesday
Rod wanted to do things with his mom, and learn his toddler skills. And so it was!
He was easy to satisfy, as are all toddlers.
Ariel wanted to buy a drum kit, talk about hobby, play darts, play marco polo, read a book and take a picture. She started with talk about hobby and that spun up ...
Call Benedick, invite Benedick over....ect. Funny thing, she never rolled "kiss" or anything of the like. Just lots of joking and playing. All wishes accomplished easily. ASimWen keeps hoping for these two!
Albany's time was getting short. ASimWen was fulfilling his wishes of commanding the dogs around, praise the dogs. Ariel rolled wishes to spend time with dad.
Thursday
Albany wanted to talk about hobby, relative gets married, and command both doggos Leslie and Webster to "come here". Goneril heard all bout Albany's love of science, and that morphed into a whole slew of wishes to do things with Goneril. Classic dance, kiss. It was an easy wish day for Albany. ASimWen was now hoping to get him into plat for his headstone which was sure to happen soon.
Ariel still wanted the drum set, win a computer game (she had a hobby plaque in games), learn how to make Grandma's Comfort Soup, buy a handheld game, meet someone new, and buy a game costing $5,000. Well, ASimWen noticed she didn't have her second aspiration yet, so Family it was.
She got busy making Grandma's Soup, realizing a wish fulfilled. That was replaced with command Webster to Come Here. heh Everything else stayed the same. Soup made and put away in the fridge, she then hopped on the computer to chat and met a nice lady named Bliss Merry, having met someone new. Then great wishes spun up. Have a party, dance and flirt with Benedick. Oh yes. That would happen today.
Rod rolled talk with mom, be played with by mom, get charisma 7, and grow up well. It would all tie up today.
In the early afternoon, Ariel called over family and friends for her party. Not everyone came, but her sister Desdemona came w/ her husband Spencer Monty, then there was brother Hal. And of course Benedick. Wish fulfilled: flirt with Benedick. Then this happened:
Oh my. Benedick decided he loved Ariel. Now the feeling was mutual. (Note Desdemona is talking to Hal about aliens. Wonder if she is referring to her husband's alien daughter Audrey??) Ariel had to get the influencing party wishes out of the way, then it was back to Benedick. She asked him what he wanted. Here is what he said:
Well, it would have to wait. Goneril had grown tired and went to bed using the double bed. But it was going to happen, and soon. The party was a roof raiser, fulfilling "Great Party" wish for Ariel.
This seemed like a great time to cake up Rod, as his birthday message had popped during Ariel's house party.
Upon growing up Rod wanted to adopt a kitten or puppy, get creativity 5, see rain, and buy a toy. It would all have to wait as Rod was tired and went right to bed. His wishes were all fulfilled for the day anyway before he grew up.
Friday
Being that is was now Spring, all the adults in the house threw "Ask Sim Out On Date". Naturally Ariel called up Benedick. During the date she threw this:
She wanted to marry Bennie. ASimWen was watching his wishes, all he threw were fears of getting engaged to Ariel, or marrying Ariel or his fiancee Trista. So sad for Ariel. But they both eventually threw "WooHoo in Car" to the tune of three times!
Goneril's car was used. haha Soon Rod returned from his first day at school, and the date was over. Ariel's wishes were in for the day.
Returning home from work, Albany was showing generic wishes "play catch", "command Alegra". However, Goneril had the "Ask Sim On Date" wish. Being ASimWen thought this day would be Albany's Grim Party, Goneril fulfilled wishes for Albany putting him in platinum. But to no avail. Albany was going to hang in there another day. He was 77 years old.
Saturday
Albany and Goneril had stayed up all night watching TV, gaining cooking skills watching the cooking channel. They went to bed around 5 am.
At six AM (I mean really, who gets up that early on the weekends) Ariel was showing: "Ask Sim On Date", have a good reputation, kiss, tickle Benedick, be friends with Trista (a different one, not Bennie's fiancee) and play darts.
Rod was showing get an A+ report card, get creativity 5, jump rope, and adopt a puppy or kitten. ASimWen planned Ariel's and Rod's day, full of fun, for sure.
Ariel and Rod headed to Planetary Pets. While there, Rod found out his favorite hobby was Nature.
In the end, he did not find a pet he liked, and he and his mom decided to get one from the shelter. So they went back home, and Ariel called out for a kitten.
Rod named his new kitten James. This realized a big wish fulfilled for Rod. It was replaced with "be friends with James."
When Albany awoke at 10:00, he had the"Ask Sim On Date" wish. Good. At 2:00 pm, he asked Goneril on a date.
At 6 pm, he had his Grim Party. He was 78 years old. And managed a platinum headstone. Buh-bye Albany.
He left a lot of wealth in the neighborhood. As soon as Albany passed, the phone rang.
It was Benedick asking Ariel out. She accepted.
While at the Crypto Night Club, Benedick's fiancee Trista showed up and caught him cheating. It was an ugly scene.
Ariel and Benedick hastily left the club and headed out to Cold Issue Clothing where some indulgence in public woohoo took place. Crumplebottom whacked Benedick a couple of times.
Sunday
Rod still wanted to be friends with James, wanted to jump rope, get that A+ and get another puppy or kitten. The friendship was quickly established, and rope jumped. Not ready for a second pet right now. Rod finished up his wishes for this day talking with and playing with mom.
Ariel was showing a wish to ask a sim on a date, resurrect her dad Albany, get a kiss, play darts, be flirted with and flirt. Dang. She needed to call Benedick. A date ensured, and was sure there was chimes after another go at woohoo in the car. Oh my. All Sunday wishes fulfilled.
This leads us to Monday morning. Ending wishes:
Poor misguided girl. She is now pregnant with his child. She wants to woohoo and woohoo in the car with Benedick, ask sim on a date, have a good reputation, kiss, and play darts. Honey, you won't have a good reputation if you keep sleeping around with Benedick. The woohoo wishes will have to wait until next round.
He wants that A+ report card, and has a whole slew of pet wishes. This will wait until next time.
ODD PICS OUT:
Webster took a trip over the rainbow bridge. Since his master and buddy Albany was at work when it happened, no one came out to see him off except the butler and his mate Alegra.
Ghost Webster digging a hole. He seemed to be a pretty laid back pet ghost. I normally don't like leaving them on the lot because they scare Sims so bad and that is usually so out of character for the pets. But Webster haunted a couple of times and never bothered anyone.
Hope you enjoyed this round of Veronaville Wishes. Next up is University, where we have one lone Sim. Should go pretty fast.

What an action-packed round! Would not Ariel's wish to marry Bennie override his wish to get engaged to Trista, marriage being "more" than engagement? Loved the ghost-dog digging in the garden! I've not seen many ghosts in my game, as I nearly always transfer all urns and headstones to the cemetery at Gamesend Grounds.
ReplyDeleteI am thinking that about Bennie as well. In order to do that I would need to have him break up with Trista while playing his home lot, (maybe have her catch him kissing Ariel). Then when in Ariel’s lot have her invite him over, get engaged then have him move in. He rarely doesn’t have a fear of marriage/engagement. It is always there. Would have to do it when he isn’t afraid.
DeleteOh Ariel and Bennie, those two are quite the pair. At least it isn't completely unrequited love anymore. Still, a fun filled round. I don't think I've ever seen a ghost dog dig in the yard before, that was interesting to me.
