Pleasantview Round 7 - NPC House

An NPC house?  Oh yes.  Two more PlantSim siblings who received NPCs out of the wishing well when they wished for spouses.  As you can see, Birch recieved an elderly chef, and Rose...well...her husband died last round.  More about that.

Lets get reacquainted with everyone.

Knowledge - No LTW

Joy is the oldest of everyone on this lot, and will pass any day.  She is perm plat, having earned all skills. She did not roll a new LTW, perhaps because of her age.

Fortune - Become Head of the SCIA

Birch is Joy's husband.  Wanting a quick path to wedded bliss, Birch wished for love out of the wishing well and received Joy.  Marriage happened right away!  Birch wants to become head of the SCIA, and is currently an Elite Operative.  His first wishes:  Get TOC, earn some money, invite someone over, and meet someone new.

Rose (Wilkie) Mamuyac

Popularity - Become Captain Hero

Rose is Birch's sibling, and is currently a Lieutenant.  When she wished for a spouse from the wishing well, Count Ted Mamuyac appeared to her, and it was love at first sight.  They had a son, Sheldon. First wishes:  Be friends with Lisa Rameriz and Frances Broke (Frannie, Charles's wife), talk, and play with.

Grow UP

Sheldon will cake up in three days.  His parents are Rose and Count Ted.  First wishes:  Play with John Burb, get logic 1, be BFF with John Burb, and be BFF with townie Alvin Futa.

Dogs

The breeding pair is (left to right) Tina Burb from John Burb's LTW to raise 20, and then Maxis Dog Otis.  They produced two litters last round.

So what happened last round, played in Januray, 2017??  It was an extremely fun play.  Both Birch and Rose received inheritances for thier parents, Leo Wilkie and step mother Coral (Oldie) Wilkie.  Hobby plaques earned were Birch - Mechanical and Gaming, Count Ted - Science, Rose - Music and Dance.  LTWs realized - Joy /w Max All Skills.  Abductions - Count Ted.  However, this turned out to be detrimental because he kept popping out of his coffin to cry about being abducted which ultimately made his needs drop so low he could not be revived, and ended up turning to dust, having then getting sucked up off the floor by the cleaning robot.  Sheldon aged up from infant to child. 

Beau Broke was hanging out playing chess.  At 7:00 in the morning???  He is quite focused on his task!

Awww Joy and Birch met up outside to maintain the dog pen.  Joy singing the praises of her Plantsim Man in the early morn.  They are so in love, a match made in Sim Heaven.

Birch moved on to the robotics table and earned a silver badge.  He did not have a wish to do this, but he had to occupy his time somehow before it was time to go to work.  It was easy to get in five wishes with Joy.

Rose returned home and was met by Sheldon.  They both had wishes to talk about hobbies.

Like her sister Sharon back at the PlantSim Ranch Rose took up writing books to wile away the night time hours.    She gained entrance to Desirable Discourse!  She was very encouraged by this milestone.

Sheldon finally realized a wish he had been keeping to get an A+!  Uncle Birch took a break from bathing Tina Burb and Otis to spread lots of praise around.  In further celebration...

Sheldon and David Caliente played together all evening.  Sheldon's "fun" drops very fast and it often takes all evening to work it back up again enough to get his homework done.

Meanwhile outside during her yoga session. Joy the Chef had her Grim party.  The boys were first on the scene.  Brich Joy's husband, was inside on the computer blogging about tinkering and didn't realize what was going on.

Rose arrived home from work and witnessed the very end of the party.  This was a big blow to her, very very sad to lose first her husband Count Ted last round, and now her sister in law this round.

Birch finally realized there was a family emergency and headed outside to see what was going on.  Oh my oh my.  Rose told him what happened.

Birch knew Joy was getting on in age so this was not a big surprise to him.  (Strangely he showed no sadness at all....even though he and Joy had a close relationship).

Joy had a little money to spread around.

The day wound down with Tina and Otis trying for puppies.  Yes, two pups were born earlier in the day and ASimWen was asleep at the wheel and didn't get any pictures.  They were immediately sent off to Animal Control  However as you will see later, maybe they should have stuck around.

Wednesday morning, Sheldon headed off to school, his mom Rose headed off to work. Birch decided to work on the robotics bench, that is when ASimWen realized he had his gold in robotics.  The momentous occasion was totally missed.  (Must have been napping big time.  First no pics of puppies and then this.  heh  Come to think of it I did shut the game down and headed to bed an hour early!)

ASim wasn't sleeping during this!  It was Sheldon's cake up day!  Birch was at work, so it was just Sheldon and his mom.

Handsome boy!  So Sheldon, what do you aspire to do, pray tell us!

Family - Raise 20 Puppies or Kittens

Of course.  Those puppies born yesterday should have stayed around.

Upon growing up Sheldon wanted all the stuff young Family Sims want. Firsts kiss, flirt, ect.....Luckily....

There is a wishing well on this lot.  Sheldon wished up a First Kiss.

A beautiful three bolt attraction named Chris Lew.  She didn't stick around very long, only long enough for Sheldon to get his wishes for the day in.  Then he wanted logic points, so hit the telescope.

New LTW - Become City Planner

Birch comes home from work in the meantime, and goes perm plat.  No more filling wishes for you, buddy!

Thursday

Sheldon is old enough now to be in the house by himself without nanny or social worker showing up.  On this day, Brandi Broke visited after school and a competitive game of chess ensued.

New LTW - Become A Rock God

Birch's sister Rose "rose" to the higher echelon of the Law Enforcement Career.  She became Pleasantview's newest Captain Hero.

Brandi leaves to go home after getting a wish realized to make friends with Sheldon.  Sheldon had been harboring a wish since he got up that morning to make friends himself with David Caliente, the boy who had come over earlier in the week.  He hits the telephone for some friendly conversation.  It wasn't long before...

David's dad John Caliente just shows up in the house and waltzes in like he owns the place.


Sheldon's yakkity-yak session with David was rudely cut short by a visit from his Aunt Joy.  but not before he became friends with David, pushing him into platinum mood.  He was able to hit the energize for a little git up and go....so he could skill the rest of the night.  The wishes he spun up then could not be fulfilled until Friday.  He wanted to be BFF iwth David and Brandi both, go steady with Chris and get a bronze in flower making.

Well his Uncle Birch had taken up flower arranging after learning how to make robots,  so that was out.

Friday

Rose finally finished her first book.  She received a tidy sum of simoleons for it.  By now it was after midnight, and a new listing of jobs should have occured.

Hurray!  Her new desired field is listed!  She took this job.

This was puppy day for Tina and Otis.  Meet Cheryl and Zachary.  For those of you in the US of A and familiar with the State Farm commercial. about Cheryl's "she-shed"...yes that commercial was playing on ASimWen's TV at the exact moment the pups were born.  They will stick around and grow up feeding Sheldon's LTW.

Just as Rose was heading off to work as a Battle of the Bands Judge Sheldon came home from school with a new potential friend in tow.

Brandi Broke' sister, Betty.  Oohh she is a Family Sim like Sheldon!

She is thinking about marriage all ready.  Sheldon asked Betty if she would like to go out, he needed to buy some clothes.  His wishes were no different than they were the night before. Hopefully by going out the wishes would shake up a bit.

Sheldon found a few things he liked.  As he approached the checkout, he spied Albert Goth chatting up Betty. Albert was a fellow Family Sim.

At that moment, Sheldon knew he didn't have a chance with Betty.  She had that dreamy look on her face like she just met her dream man.

Sheldon changed into one of his new outfits, and spent a few more minutes with Betty until they were solid friends.  He said goodbye and headed home.  He did get all his wishes in.

Yay!

Sheldon returned home, and discovered the cleaning bot had broken, and his mom and uncle were feverishly cleaning up after it.  Wanting nothing to do with that, Sheldon stayed in the house.

Rose immediately got to work fixing the hapless robot, then turned it on to help clean up the mess it created.  Back and forth she and Birch toted loads of trash to the composter.

	Death by Flies

Then it happened...Birch didn't feel so well.   Tina Burb the doggo started growling at the unusual display.

Before anyone knew it, Birch was gone and Grim came to collect him.  Rose begged Grim to spare her brother's life.  They couldn't help it..not really...nobody knew that robot was gonna break down like that.

Grim relented and suggested a game of CHOOSE.

Rose chose correctly and Grim had to give up this PlantSim soul.  Rose saved Brich from the Grim Reaper.

Birch now had a memory of 'Cheated Death.'  He was dazed for a bit.

Now, ASimWen loves her ghosts, especially ones that happen by accident and are different colors than death by old age.  And, it would have been advantageous to leave Birch dead since room was needed in the house to add more pets for Sheldon's LTW.  However, Rose was just beside herself in grief, having just lost her husband last round, her sister in law this round, and now her brother.  ASimWen took heart and let Rose plead for her brother's death.  Then hoped that the pleading would fail, but it didn't.  And besides, ASim felt a twinge of guilt because of not keeping an eye on the robot.

Saturday

Saturday morning Sheldon still wanted to spend time with Betty even though he knew there was no chance he would win her over.  Betty was still angry about the Gordon King incident even though it had happened well over a Sim week ago.

Easy, five wishes in.  Sadly not much else happened on this day what with all the broken cleaning bot the day before and all. 

Rose did promote up in her job..but will not be going back to work this round to finish the music career.  She went back to writing novels to try to earn the Film and Lit hobby plaque.

Sunday

Sunday sees Sheldon wanting to play marco polo, eat omelets, be BF with Beau Broke, and win a dance contest.  Not a thought about girls at all.

No 1.  Eat omelets.  All by youself because your mom and uncle don't eat people food.  Put leftovers away.

Invite a group of friends to the pool to go swimming, forgetting that it is winter there too.

It doesnt' matter, the pool is heated.  You get one person to play marco polo.

Everybody heads inside to play darts.  Oh look there is Minnie Pleasant.  Haven't seen her in a while.  She was smart enough not to get in the pool in the winter time.

All in all it was a good outing...a Rockin' outing!

Upon returnig home, Betty calls ya to go right  back out.  You can't believe it, you want to skill instead.

You all end up at the park and you put soap in all four fountians and Betty didn't like you doing that, but it was another Rockin' outing anyway!  haha!

Sheldon received two different gifts for the two different outings.  Sims are so funny.  One of them was from the kid David Caliente.

David finally won a membership to Sue's kitchen, now maybe he can go win that cooking contest he has been a-wishing for.

Another gold badge for Birch.  My oh my he is being productive! 

And that is where we leave the NPC house for this round!
