All right. Happy to be visiting John and Mary. They are direct descendants of the Caleinte, Lothario, and Pleasant families. John is the son of Nina Caliente and Don Lothario, and Mary is the third child of MarySue and Daniel Pleasant. Risky has been kind to them and so far has blessed them with only one child, David born last round.

Cats
These two cats were born in Pleasantview. On the left is Jessica Goth from Alexander's Cat Ranch, and on the right is Joel Oldie, from Coral's LTW of raise 20. They have not had kittens, as their sole purpose is to supply jobs for John's LTW. Once that is done, then they will settle down and have a family.
Mary was very meticulous about her garden. So much so she decided to see if she could get membership in the Garden Club.
She nervously stood by while the Garden Club inspected her garden and landscaping. She couldn't watch.
She was in! And received this great wishing well!
After the inspectors left, she needed to do a little work on her plants, and it was just enough to push her over the top to a gold badge in gardening.
After fulfilling toddler type wishes for David (tickle, cuddle, talk to ect) it was time for his birthday. The Who's Who of Pleasantview attended.

WooHoo! Go you, David! Good looking kid. Has his momma's skin coloring with his daddy's hair and eyes.

In the mean time over there in the corner there is a bowing contest going on. George Caliente/Don Lothario, and Mary/Lilith Pleasant. Sheesh. David is oblivious to the whole thing.

This is a first....John seeing his parents together. Now here is something interesting. while John was selected, clicked on his dad Don. Pay off for $50 was an option. ???? Usually that only shows up when a Sim is being harrassed. So...John paid Don $50! Don says...okay...I will leave you alone for now. Hahaha!!!

John and his father. The party was a roof raiser, the cops came and broke the party up. It was a huge success.
Tuesday
Jessica has already reached the top of the Showbiz career. Now working on the Service career.
And Joel is working on Showbiz.
Look who came over after David's first day of school! Isabel Wilkie, daughter of plantsim Silver Maple and Brittany (Upsnot) Wilkie.
David asked Isabel if she wanted to go play catch, and apparently she had the wish too!
It was a super wish day for David, learning homework from his dad. Then it was off to bed.
Wednesday
David woke up wanting to skip rope. And he did!
Then it was a plethora of wishes to command both cats around. All wishes done before the school bus came.
Kitty Joel had the day off work, so John got to work training him up to play dead. It would be there when he needed it for a job!
Another job completed for Jessica! Johh immediately got her a job in Service, the last one she must complete.

Alice Broke, daughter of Beau Broke came over after school. David is a chick magnet...all these girls keep coming over!
Well on her way to reaching the top of the Security career.
Thursday
Joel's turn! He finished up Showbiz...onto the Service career!
Joel worked all his wishes in before school commanding the cats around, but was very low on fun when he came home from school. He had a wish to play with Alice, so invited her over! I think they are going to be good friends.
John finally went back to work after being off most of the week, and got a terrific bonus. Can't beat that with a stick!
Friday
David heads off to school once again having already gotten his wishes in for the day. Both of the cats are fully trained for job promotions so there is plenty of opportunity to command them to do the tricks.
It was Mary's turn to get a bonus! And....

Weeelll looky who came home over after work with John. Sharon from the PlantSim Ranch. Apparently she likes his grilled cheese talk.
Saturday
The morning started out with a family breakfast, cooked by Mary in preparation for her job in Culinary. Over the delicious omelets, it was decided that on this marvelous day, a trip to Planetary Pet Park was in order. David had a wish to fish, and it would be fun to take the cats out.
David immediately headed for the fishing hole, realizing a wish that spun in and out all week along. Next up, catch a large mouth bass! He got right to work on that.
Joel and Jessica met up with Don Lothario's son Thomas. (Not sure which Plantsim that is on the left). Perhaps Thomas is missing the two cats that his dad sold to Dustin Broke!
John tried out his GCS talk on another one of Don's kids...Emma Copur. She wasn't havin' it!
Thomas joined David at the fishing hole. Nothing like fishing amongst good company. All in all, it was a great outing to the park, although David did not catch the largemouth bass. Many wishes were fulfilled, except for that one.
Sunday
Like is mother, David's one true hobby is Sports. Mary drug her old sporting equipment out and worked with David. However, David asked if they could go out again....
And try for that big fish! He finally caught it, but it took most of the afternoon. John tried his hand at fishing, and managed the bronze badge.
Back home John gains another badge, a gold one in gardening. He had done most of the watering which is great for someone to do who is working on a badge.
And it came up! Mary's next job. She took it. And look at that, she is starting out as a Sous Chef. Pretty good!
David and Mary worked on their Sports hobby together by watching the game. Oohh Joel is a TV watcher too!
Jessica's last promotion. She has now run all three careers for pets and will be retired. Unfortunately she won't be having kittens with Joel, as they are somehow related. They do not have the same parents, I looked through both of their family trees. I opened SimPE and combed through everything. For some reason the game views them as related. Sad. I even removed their parents in SimPE to try to break any ties they might have. Nope. Not sure what is going to happen here, have to give it some thought.
And that is the end of the visit with the Calientes. ASimWen failed to get David's ending wishes.

I have never seen that about the harassment or being paid off. See there is always something new to find out about the sims 2
ReplyDeleteYes it is for cases where trash cans are being knocked over, newspapers being stolen, etc. or even when the sims sees someone on a diff lot they have wronged. Sometimes the “payoff” option comes up.
ReplyDeleteI will try next time catch a sim knocking over bins or stealing newspaper.
ReplyDeleteI have done it a few times. Sometimes the offending Sim will stop harassing and sometimes they don’t! Heh. It really is funny.
DeleteNormally it’s the Dad who gives the kid money! Too funny with John paying off Don. John does look a lot like his ma, Nina as Mary does Mary-Sue.

Wow the family resemblances in this family are pretty strong. You can see both Don and Nina in John and Mary looks so much like Mary-Sue it's crazy. Sad about the cats being seen as related, that is an interesting thing to have happen without seeing anything obvious. I guess we'll have to wait and see what you end up doing.
