Veronaville Round 5 - Capp - Cornwall and Regan

This entry is another Capp lot, Cornwall and Regan.  Regan is the daughter of Consort and Contessa Capp, and Cornwall is the son of Tobea and Hamlet Dane.  Hm.

At any rate, Cornwall and Regan had not one...but two sets of natural twins.  and neither one of them are Family Sims!  Let's get on with the introductions~!

First Wishes:  Cam gets promoted, go to Uni, sneak out with or go out with Townie  Yoosung Gaither.  Fay will cake up in a couple of days.  Apparently she didn't show any wishes for going to University lasts round or ASimWen certainly would have sent her.

Popularity - Become The Law

First Wishes (The only family member who doesn't want the poor cat Cam to get promoted):  Be friends with Spencer Monty, get Charisma 1, go to Uni, and have a party.

Avalon's twin Aubrey went to Univeristy last round...but thinking it should have been Fay or Elgar.  He was just barely a teen, and is now in his own apartment a grown man having graduated from Uni.  Not sure what I am going to do about that.

The Breeding Pair

EA kitty Kim, and then Cam who was purchased by Fay from Aelita Summerdream last round.  They are also going to fulfill Regan's LTW. 

So what happened last round?  It was an especially enjoyable play!  Cam the cat was showcased having been brought into the household by Fay, who purchased him from Titania Summerdream.  His purpose?  To climb to the top of all three pet careers, and to be a stud for Kim the stray the Capps took in.  Kim has already conquered all three pet jobs and is now retired playing the pregnant lady.  Fay dated a townie named Yoosung Gaither several times, so the fling she had with Aelita Summerdream on the Summerdream lot was nothing but a youthful tryst.   Elgar started going steady with Gwyneth Merry.  Hm. It is a good thing he never saw Gwyneth and Avery Capp dating!  He has two bolts with Gwyneth.  (Marriage material??)  Avalon did nothing outstanding.  Regan trained Cam out in all his skills, and reached TOC in the Entertainment track as a Prestdigitator.  And oh yes.  Fay won the gaming hobby plaque.  Ok!

LET'S PLAY!

Woohoo was in the wish panels for both Cornwall and Regan.  So when he got home from work.....realized!  They were then happy Sims.  Regan also got to go hiking, and bird watching.  Catch bugs wasn't in the cards for her, she tried twice and got chased by bees.

However she did throw wishes to command Kim the cat around, and praise her, so Regan did well in the wish realm.

Look who came over after school, blog hog Barron Monty, Bottom (Summerdream) Monty's son.  This in turn threw a wish from Elgar to be friends with him.

And so it was!  Apparently Barron wanted to be friends with Elgar as well. 

Cam got promoted!  Prompting many wishes throughout the house realized.

Cam was a proud pappa when his first two babies were born...but then immediately they were sent off to Animal Control.  But hey..this meant he and Kim got to try for kittens again and were successful!   More kittens on the way.  At this point, Kim took another dose from the Kibble of Life bowl.  She is now close the the same age as Cam.

Fay was asked if she wanted to go out, and of course she said yes.  Beatrice Monty, Spencer Monty was there, as was Yoosung Gaither, the boy Fay had been dating.

They were so glad to see each other.  It seems they were getting along a lot better than they did last round.  The evening out was a big success!

What's this?  TWO limos in front of the Capp house?  Yes.  Both Fay and Avalon decided to sneak out and satisfy wishes they had.

OOps....around 4am Fay managed to sneak back in the house without being detected...but poor Avalon...

Got caught.  Luckily his mom and dad were snoozing and never received the report from the cop.

Getting caught did not dampen Avalon's spirit to sneak out again! Fay on the other hand...

Had no desire to try it again, lest she get caught.  After seeing what happened to Avalon she feared sneaking out, and getting arrested.

New LTW - Own 5 Top level Businesses (no)

Oblivious to his children's indiscretions, Cornwall reached TOC of his job and was now the Hand of Poseidon.  This is his second TOC.  Go you, Cornwall!

This day was a special day though.  All sneaking out forgotten...all was forgiven...It was Cake Up Day for the twins.

A couple of friends came home from school with the kids.  Here is Zena Capp.  Also in attendance was Barron Monty (of course).

Pre birthday party activities.  Typical teens!

Finally it was time to blow out the candles!

Yanno, I have watched other Simmers on YouTube Let's Plays.  And one person I watched pointed out that Sims like particular colors.  Look at this.  These two grew up in the same colors they wore as teens.   I think I am beginning to believe it.  ASimWen will endeavor to keep them in these colors! At any rate, These two grew up to be good looking Sims!

Also grown up was:

Yoosung and Gwyneth.  ASimWen wanted to see if Fay and Elgar held their amourous feelings toward their teen loves.

Oh yes they did.  Although it is like pulling teeth out of a turtle's head with Fay and Yoosung...only one bolt.  Elgar and Gwyneth are wonderful.  Two bolts!   The party was a roof raiser and everyone went home happy.  ASimWen thought for sure that both Elgar or Fay would roll woohoo but they did not.

ASimWen decided to clean out the custom content of mostly hair files.  Fay's hair changed to something really unbecoming for her, so ASim had to help her out with a default replacement.  On a side note, I also deleted a lot of custom content that had a date of earlier than 2010.  Got rid of a lot of stuff I never used.  But got rid of most of the earrings I had. so oh well....I did use those a lot.  I got delete happy.  I have been pleased as of late to find that the creators out there are starting to put out new TS2 stuff again, good quality items so wanted to get rid of stuff I had that wasn't so great.

On Wednesday, Fay wanted to have a party.  Her first as an adult.

New Hair

Of course Yoosung was invited.  (see Beatrice Monty sitting back there on the sofa.  Her hair got changed).  As soon as Yoosung arrived, Fay rolled "woohoo"  It was locked in....

Oh geesh.  And this wasn't even a dream date for her LTW.  Thank you Risky.  Again, finding it hard to believe this because the household is also expecting kittens.  At any rate, all Fay's wishes were in for the day.  Avalon and Regan threw all the game related wishes, and were happy gaming campers.  Elgar had his first day at work as a Detective in the Law Enforcement Caeer, and immediately promoted up to Lieutenant.  Fulfilled blog about games and play a game then went to bed.

Avalon is at it again.  Barron Monty you are a bad influence!!!

Avalon managed to come creeping back home at 4am without getting caught!  Wanted to do it again! (locked in).  However might be feeling like his luck is running out.  Now fears getting caught and arrested, and making his father angry!

Two more kittens born while Avalon was out.  Fay immediately called for them to be picked up.  Try for kittens again, success.

4 pet jobs down, 2 to go for Regan's LTW!  Next career:  Security!

So two wishes were fulfilled on this day.  Fay (on the left) wanted a dream date, and Avalon wanted to throw a party.  Since both were a shoo in for five wishes, Avalon's wish to sneak out was unlocked.  Of course Fay's date ended in woohoo...of course....and ASimWen found out that Avalon and Paris Monty were an item!  They fell in love during the party!  Isn't she cute.

Who is in this picture?  Barron is sitting back there at the chess board munching chips, Avalon is playing the game, Rosaline Monty is sitting beside him, beside her is her mother Juliette (Capp) Monty.  On the floor is Paris.  Juilette came home from work with Elgar.  Nice action shot.

And the last party picture...this says it all....Avalon helped Barron realized a wish to be BFFs with him as the two boys turned a gazed at Yoosung climbing the stairs to go woohoo with Fay.  They have that look in their face like..."we know where you are going and what you are going to do!"

Fay's date over....Yoosung goes home and calls Fay right back out for another date.  They go to Lucky Shack Cards and Drink...

Then Fay rolled the wish to woohoo..out of the blue!  So off to (someplace) with changing booths so they could do a little public woohoo.  Cute pajamas...she should have bought them.  After the woohoo...Fay then rolled:

Woah!  She wanted to marry this one bolt attraction guy! Alrightie then!  Must have been the pregnancy hormones talking because ASimWen thought she knew this wish system, and they did NOTHING that should have made that roll up.  Per ASim's rules, it is locked in and done!

She asked him...and he said yes.  They got engaged!  It is destined to be successful...see the good witch's rays of happiness outside in the night sky....

Back home Avalon's party was starting to wind down.  The butler made everyone macaroni and cheese.  Hm.  Good party food, I reckon!

Fay tells Yoosung about the baby, as if he didn't notice.  So fearing that the baby would come before they had a chance to get married, they decided to do it right then.  Because it was time for him/her to come at any moment.

Yoosung moved in without hesitation.  Brought 8K with him....good!

Knowledge - Wants to Become a Space Pirate

Interestingly - Yoosung is already a Rock God.  Without the skills to carry that job.  His wishes upon moving in:  Go on vacation, have a baby, go swimming, max *any* skill, get a skill point, and be saved from death.  He had downtownie loot in his backpack - A garden gnome, a nightclub lamp, a kitchen stove, a recalling rug, a pinball machine, a Dance-o-Sphere, a Song Dynasty vase, a hot tub, and a DJ Booth.

So we know that the game doesn't generate downtownies that look like this.  Years ago I played a family named Gaither for a short challenge in Veronaville.  When I decided to play this neighborhood in a serious way I made all the Gaithers townies or downtownies.  Yoosung has no memories of his former life as a challenge Sim for ASimWen, but he does have a family tree.

Looks like his father is Mr. Big, his mother is dead...and he has two brothers.  Hm.  I do see the first one walking around every now and then, but have never seen that middle one. 

Yoosung's mother is Felicity Gaither, but it was Merry before she married Mr. Big.  woo.  It is coming back to me.  She had Ewen..the guy in the blue hat, but he is a CAS Sim like his mother, as well his wife, Diana.  They had two girls Gwyneth and Bliss.   After Felicity married Mr. Big she adopted Yoosung and his brother BJ.  Oh yes. This challenge was to take an elder and make them platinum before they died.  And that is how Fay married a downtownie with pointed ears.  Mystery solved.

So then it looks like Elgar is in love with Yoosung's neice, Gwyneth.  This is rich!

Anyway, back to the story.....  *ahem*

Lest the baby come and not get his/her daddy's last name, a wedding arch was hastily erected and a few people called over.  Fay put on a corsette under her dress to disguise her baby bump.  Then it was inside for cake.

Mr. and Mrs. Yoosung Gaither

 There is one person to point out who came to this shindig that ASim was trying to avoid showing:

Aubrey

This is Avalon's mysterious twin who already graduated from Uni and should be the same age as him. Aubrey is already settled into an very expensive apartment in Veronaville.  Think this is how it is going to be handled:  Avalon will not be going to Uni because he has not rolled it.  He will grow to adult, and move in with Aubrey, then the lot will be played.  They should be the same age then. 

ANYWAY....

As soon as the nuptials were done and the cake eaten, an even bigger event transpired...

Yes.  Fay went into labor.  Poor Elgar is beside himself while Barron is like "I am going to have another peice of cake."

Jonah

Here he is....Jonah Gaither.  He has black hair with red recessive, and the blue eyes of his daddy.  His skintone is in between Fay's and Yoosung's. 

This realized a huge wish for Yoosung.  And Cornwall is finally showing a happy face instead of being his usual stoic self.  Yes, that is Aelita Summerdream cleaning up the cake back there.  Probably should...a lady just gave birth right beside it. 

Aww look.  Aelita is glad to see her nephew Barron.  Wow.  Apparently I didn't get rid of all the cc earrings.  Aelita still has hers.

The party was a roof raiser...and oh look. Aelita is thinking about getting married herself now.  Maybe next round!  Aelita was not jealous at all watching her former teen crush in Fay get married!  Further reinforces ASim's feelings this was the right move for both girls.

Sunday

Being the consummate Knowledge Sim, Yoosung wanted right away to learn something.  And that was to learn Parenting.  Good for you Yoosung!

Speaking of Yoosung, his desired field came up on the computer, so he grabbed it.  Yay~!

Elgar threw wishes for his love, Gwyneth. ASim was hoping he would throw "engagement" but he did not.  So sad.  But he managed to get 5 wishes in this day.  Yes, Gwyneth's black and pink dreads are gone, in favor of this beautiful cornrow ponytail.  Yup, ASim has been messing around in defaults again.  This looks beautiful on her.  Gonna have to figure out what to do about Elgar's LTW to marry off six.

Fay was given a free day off from getting wishes fulfilled, as it really had been "All about Fay" all week long.  She was allowed to do what ever she wanted when she wanted.

Who is that all grown up and moving out???  Why that is party loving Pop Sim Avalon.  He actually had 5 days to go to grow up to teen, but ASim didn't see much point in keeping him in the house since he did not want to go to University.  He needed to grow up and be the same age as his twin.  He moved out of the house and will be moving in with Aubrey. With him he took all the downtownie loot from Yoosung's backpack.  He and Aubrey will need the cash from the sale of all that to furnish their big apartment.

Summary

This was an extremely busy house, fulfilling wishes was not difficult on this lot.  It was all gaming, or commanding both Kim and Cam around since they were both fully skilled out.  Next round we will see Cam fulfill Regan's LTW of have 6 pets reach TOC.  Fay threw Ask Sim On Date almost every day, and that is how she threw get married to Yoosung.  At the beginning of this vist ASimWen didn't think that relationship was going to go anywhere, and look what happened.  Regan was all about gaming, and doing things with the cats.  Elgar also wanted gaming.  Avalon was all about parties, and the wishes that came in those.

Elgar and Fay aged up to adult, neither one unhappy about not going to University.  Fay married Yoosung and had a surprise little boy named Jonah. Cam and Kim actually contributed 6 kittens to the Veronaville animal adoption pool this visit, and are pregnant again at the end of this play.  Avalon was simblended up to adult and will be joining his twin Aubrey.  We will see him again this round when Aubrey's lot is played.
