Veronaville Round 5 - Monty - Spencer and Desdemona (Capp)

Alrightie!   This is the home of the only alien in Veronaville, little Audrey.  Her daddy Spencer Monty was abducted whilst in University, and she was in turn, born when he graduated and came home.  All who are here:

Spencer is one of three childrens adopted by Isabella Monty to spur on her LTW of marry off 6.  He will meet his LTW this play, and will become perm plat.  He is currently a Protector of Whales.  His wishes:  Hustle pool, talk, woohoo in bed (locked in) see a ghost, get a skill point, and invite someone over.  Spence will age up in 15 days.

Fortune - Become Media Magnate

Desi is perm plat having become a Business Tycoon last round, and is still doing that job.  She presents as a blond when the neighborhood is first played but dyed her hair.  She is now wearing her natural color of red.  Her wishes will not be fulfilled purposely, but they are:  buy a painting costing at least 5K, hustle pool, meet someone new, entertain, invite someone over, and talk.  Desdemona will age up in 15 days.

Audrey is the result of an abduction in University for Spencer, and was born when Spence graduated and returned home.  She will cake up in one day.  Her wishes:  talk, reach logic one and get a skill point, and grow up well.

Ha well Sam is nakey, thus the pixel blur.  His changing table doesn't seem to be working to allow him to get a diaper on.  haha

The Breeding Pair

On the left is William Capp from the Mercutio and Miranda lot.  On the right is EA doggo LuLu.  There is a litter of puppies on the way.

What happened last visit??  Right off the bat Spencer wanted a woohoo, and so it was!  Audrey aged up to child early in the week thus giving her plenty of time to get some age so she can age up immediately this round.  There was a little ring around the rosie with the dogs, as William originally had a mate named Marilyn, who turned out to have the same parents he did.  So she was sold to Kimberly and Hal Capp, and Lu Lu brought in.  Turns out Audrey is an extremely active Sim, but not very nice.  She constantly wanted to be mean to people. Of course Barron Monty came over after school a couple of times to play with Audrey, so no doubt we will see him again this round.  Then Sam was born on Saturday.  There was also a couple of fireplace fires...but apparently there was one outside too.  When ASim opened the lot:

There was a big charred spot.  And it is still smoking in the pile on the other side of the sidewalk.  Well, a check of the blog entry from last round doesn't mention it, and of course everyone's memories were just "FIRE!".  So ASim racked her brain.  What happened???  It seems that a tree caught fire, and would NOT go out.  It was a two alarm fire, and left a pile of boards in it's wake.  All the pictures from it are long gone, but it is beyond me why I didn't put it in the blog.  Desdemona caught on fire, but was put out.  It all came back to me the harder I thought about it. 

Before heading out to school, Audrey was embarrassed about seeing her brother without a diaper on.  But she wanted to show her stepmom Desdemona this cute little alien sweater she found in her closet.

New LTW - Max Out 7 Skills

Well it looks like Spencer will no longer get his wishes fulfilled.  Yay for that!  So Audrey is the only one, then Sam when he ages up.

Well.  Audrey brought a friend home with her off the school bus.  This is Elvis Monty, Barron's little brother.  Audrey got all her wishes in for the day playing with him.

Spencer beat Desi home, and was waiting for her to fulfill his woohoo wish.  *CHIMES*.  Sigh.  Thank you Risky!!!  This neighborhood had been having pretty good luck with small families...but not this one.

Early birthday notices popped for both Audrey and Sam.  And so it was!  Desi drug out of bed and invited some relatives over for a party.  Here is her mom Goneril, and behind her is Alon Monty, Spencer's adopted brother.  (Alon's hair was later changed by ASimWen, as apparently his hair was deleted when ASim cleaning out her CC a few weeks ago).  Managed to get some clothes on Sam to grow up in.

Popularity - Wants to Become Mayor

Her wishes upon growing up - Get a cell phone, go to Uni, make friends with Elvis Monty, and have a party.

And here is Sam!  OH MY but he is a cutie patooty!  Love his little Hawaiian shirt!  Well both Desdemona and Spencer are extremely good looking Sims!  Desi immediately took Sammy up to the nursery, gave him smart milk and started on his toddler training.

Spencer has a good time getting caught up with Alon.  This hair looks alot like what he used to have.  Good deal.

Benedick and Ariel carry on flirting...thoroughly embarrassing Goneril.  HAHAHA!

Desi decided to spend time in the nursery with Sam to get him started on his toddler skills by teaching him to talk.  Later, it was potty training.  Notice he is bald in the potty picture.  Just like he was nakey at first and then suddenly got clothes later, he had hair at first and then went bald.  *shrug*  Sam's dad took him outside and taught him how to walk.  He was totally toddler trained within a day.  His wishes ran the usual...talk with, be tickled/snuggled by both mom and dad.

Audrey eventually headed downtown to the Corner Shoppes to get her phone and some clothes.  She purchased a phone fulfilling that wish, then attended to the clothing racks.  ASim has taken on a rule that when someone ages up, the clothes will follow the same color pattern the Sim aged up wearing, and, will try to keep one of the pieces.  In this case Audrey kept the same top, then went with a purple skirt set instead of the purple leopard print shorts she had.  Those will stay in her dresser drawer.  Forever.

Rod Monty came over after school on Tuesday.  What happened to Barron Monty?  Was he busy?  At any rate, Audrey rolled "Ask Sim on Date".  Rod was all about it...helping Audrey get her 5 wishes in for the day.

First Kiss

Awwww...love it.  It was the first kiss for both kids.  One bolt attraction.

Well Monday evening Desi felt the affects of Spencer's wish for woohoo...and on Tuesday she gets her first baby bump.  She felt like a total rebel in this maternity outfit. Must be hormonal!

At one point she puts on her bathing suit and plays in the dog's sprinkler.  William spies her like, get out of my dog pen....

Desi did have presence of mind to check the want ads to see if her desired field was there, and it was.  She gave up being a Business Tycoon having held that job for a while, and decided to head into the world of Media.  She will start work after the baby is born.

Tuesday finds Audrey in the dog pen commanding the dogs around for wishes.  She got a couple in before the school bus came.

After school she had a wish to invite someone over, so she called Barron to make sure he was ok....wasn't sick or anything since he had not done his usual and invited himself over.  He was fine, and was excited to come over.  All wishes in for the day.

New LTW - Become City Planner

And Tuesday also sees Spencer meeting his second LTW, max 7 skills.  He only had one to go, and that was charisma.  He used Desi's execuputter she won as a business tycoon to get the skill point.  He will start daily checking on the computer for his new job.  Tough wearing the underwater suit all the time.

Yup there you go....four puppies.  WOW!  Went to Animal Control straight away.

Not only did Sam go bald, he also was in a pink sleeper.  His mom and dad was hard pressed to get him something more manly like blue or green, fearing he would lose his clothes again.   Making sure he was dressed for his birthday!

Not a huge party this time, although Rod was still there visiting with Audrey.  Sam won some aspiration on realizing Grow Up Well.  Go you, Sammy!  (sorry didn't get his grow up wishes, as Desi was due to give birth in a couple of hours and wanted to hurry up and get her settled).

While the others ate cake downstairs, Desi headed to bed because she was in pre labor.  Then it was time to have the baby, and Spencer was on hand to help.

Another son, named Magnus.  A nice solid masculine name.  ASim actually uses a baby name book, flips open a page, closes eyes, and points.  Only does this if there is nothing interesting on TV to pull names from.  haha

Friday morning Audrey shares her love of fitness with her brother through discussing her hobbies.  Then she rolled stuff that would have to wait, including go to Uni which rolls off and on.

Sam did what all Sims do on this lot and rolled things to do with the dogs. Command tricks, and praise.  He loves LuLu.

OOohh no!  It appears Spencer is being a deadbeat and not keeping in touch with his friends.  AND....Desi noticed she needed one more friend in order to promote up in her new job in Media.  So, Spencer hopped on the horn to shore up all these friendships so they would not be lost.

Friday afternoon, Audrey boarded the Friendship Train and invited Barron Monty over.  She had a wish to have three best friends, and he was the closest to being her BF.  In the mean while Spencer and Audrey nabbed miscellaneous townies walking by and made friends with them.  It took all afternoon.  In the end, there were now enough family friends for Desdemona to promote up.

While everyone was socializing with other Sims, Sam headed to the dog pen to command LuLu around, and praise her for being a good doggo.  All wishes in for the day.

Saturday morning Sam hurried and got his homework done (fulfilling a wish) because his dad was taking him and Audrey fishing.  Mom stayed home with Magnus and to get ready for her first day at work.

This fulfilled wishes for everyone, although Audrey lagged a little bit getting to the pond.  She fished for a few minutes then decided the park was a hot bed of social opportunities.

She made a new friend, and met a few new people.  This further cemented the family friendship count for her mom in her job.

When the trio went home, Spencer had received enough exposure in nature that the Nature chick paid him a visit .  He can now take the kids fishing to Peerless Park.

At her very first day at work Desi was faced with a big decision. She had just hired a nanny to watch Magnus while she worked.  She really didn't want to make an enemy of the Nanny Union.  She decided to withdraw it.

Yay!  This really helps Desi and Spencer's bank account!

More pups.  Tried for more, on the way.  We wont' see them until next round.  These pups are named Morewenna, Penhale and Martin Ellingham named after characters in ASimWen's favorite PBS program, Doc Martin.

All the friendship making helped, the promotion came through!  Now Desi needs to work on a couple of skill points for the next one.

This day was Magnus' cake up day.  Ooh looks like he has the same color scheme as his brother Sam, but his face is definitely different!  (Wonder if he will keep his hair???) 

His wishes upon growing up - learn to walk and potty, and be snuggled by mom and dad.  Of course the first thing he learned was learn to talk.  haha

Sunday morning wishes were fulfilled for the kids like talk about hobby...learn to walk...then it was off to Peerless Park to fish, realizing more wishes done.

Everyone was so excited about going fishing, there was no bother to change into everyday clothes.  Out the door in their pjs they went.  Even though Spencer was not actively getting his wishes fulfilled, his fishing ones were.

Even though Audrey threw wishes to go fishing, it is apparent that Sam enjoyed it more!  Although his chosen hobby is tinkering.  He will get started on that later when he grows up a little!

Upon returning home, Sam got his very own membership to Peerless Park, and then decided he wanted to learn cleaning.  That fits in with Nature!

The visit with the Montys is ended with the very cute (yet gratuitous) picture of Magnus having fun with his xylophone.  He is such a cutie patooty!

Summary

The butler was fired because he was so conscientious about his job he was always in the way when it came to taking care of the babies.  Spence and Desi wanted the boys to have smart milk, and the butler always wanted them to have a bottle out of the fridge.  Buh-bye.  It seemed the name of the day was making friends, having puppies, and going fishing is what everyone wanted to do, and big support was shown for Desi to get her promoted in her new job in Media.  Audrey was the biggest instigator of getting the friendship count up, and Spencer was the one always encouraging doggos William and LuLu to have puppies.  The dogs contributed 10 this round although the first batch born was conceived in round 4.  ASimWen keeps breeding pets on a lot for two reasons.  To contribute to the adoption pool, and to try to keep the Sim population down on a lot.  So far has not worked here, there are now 5 Sims.  And the dogs were having big litters!  Memberships to special clubs:  Spencer:  Peerless Park.  Dedesmona:  Dreamy Fields.  Audrey:  Sues Secret Kitchen and Platinum Gymn.  Sam:  Peerless Park.  Spencer reached LTW twice, and Desi managed to get her next preferred job in Journalism. This was a fun and fruitful round with the Montys.

Ending wishes:
