Veronaville Round 5 - University

Hi!  Welcome to Veronaville University, round 5.  ASimWen has recently discovered the wonderful world of Sims Poseboxes.  What do you think???  It was fun setting this up, but not so sure it was worth the time!  But I think it def looks better than the pic from the neighborhood screen!

At any rate this round we have three University attendees.

Avery Capp

Pleasure - Become A Celebrity Chef

First wishes:  Flirt, join Greek House, sister Zena goes to college, and dine out with Sim. It is beyond me why Pleasure Sims wish to go to University.  But Avery did! So here he is.  Back in the hood he was the fun loving brother to Erlina and Zena.  He also dated Gwyneth Merry, who has moved on to dating Elgar Capp, Avery's cousin.  Unless he points out that he wants someone in particular, he will stay single!  But really, who knows a Sim's heart?

First wishes:  Go to class, do research, write term paper, and do homework.  (does she look better with brown hair or black hair?  She loaded with black hair when she aged up to YA.  Her DNA file is brown w/blond recessive). Erlina was more concerned with earning scholarships back home, and working a teen job.  And judging from her first wishes, it still appears that she wants to pursue success.

Paris Monty

Family - Wants to Graduate 3 From College

First Wishes:  Flirt, BJ Gaither goes to college, fall in love, and slow dance with Sim.  Paris is here purely to major in MRS.  She did keep the Uni wish alot so not sure why.  The only time she lost the Uni want is when she was sitting at her sewing machine making clothes.  She plans to design and sew her wedding dress, as well as a matching tux for her intended.   BJ Gaither will not be coming to college, she will forget about him soon enough!

After having lunch, Paris immediately phones her first love (before he grew up).  Aubrey Capp.

She flirted with Aubrey, and both of them fell in love, head over heals.  (wishes fulfilled).  Then Aubrey popped the big one:

Yes..yes...YES!!!

Paris had wished for a long time that she would get engaged to Aubrey.  Every time she saw him back in the neighborhood, she would imagine they would get engaged.  (wish filfilled).

Such a cute couple.  Sadly Paris had to leave for class right after her engagement, no time to visit.

Well.  That didn't take long.  *wink*  All her wishes in for the first day.

Upon returning from class, Erlina wanted to talk about her hobbies, of which she had many.  She then placed a couple of calls home, she was feeling homesick.  Called her dad Kent Capp for a chat, and also called Avalon Capp to come over, Aubrey's brother. 5 wishes fulfilled for her.

So what had Avery been doing all this time?  Buttering up each member of the Oresha-Ho-Var-House over the phone to make sure he would get in.  Fulfilling the Greek House wish.  And so it was!  Avery was in like flynn.

Otherwise he wanted to karaoke with a Sim, talk about hobbies, ect.  All wishes in for Avery.

News travels fast in the dorm.  It is already going around about Paris's engagement.

The kids decided to go to the Student Center to get some recreation in before final exam. Avery proceeded to brag about being an over achiever.  No wonder you have a hard time making friends Avery!  You are such a liar.

The girls on the other hand had nice chick talk over lunch.  They are becoming fast friends.

Back at the dorm it was soon time to attend final exam for first semester, freshman year.  Everyone passed with flying colors.  Erlina realized a wish to get on dean's list.   Go shower, Avery.

NOTE:  At this point the karaoke machine which Paris brought in her backpack was removed from the dorm.  Avery had such a strong fixation to it.  He always threw "Sing  A Duet" and it was rough if Erlina wasn't available.  He doesn't seem to make friends easily to get other Sims to sing with.  I have never played a pleasure Sim who was so difficult to keep happy!  Let's see how it goes!

Paris talking about her engagement again.  She is so excited to become Mrs. Aubrey Capp.

Avery wanted to ask a Sim on a date, so he asked this girl, Mona.  While he got his five wishes in, it was like pulling teeth out of a turtle's head.

Whoops!  What happened here....a satellite death.

It was Erlina, who had a wish to see a shooting star.  Now, ASimWen knows there is a teeny tiny chance that a satellite can fall on someone.  But sooooo uncommon.   Avery pled for his sister's life.

Avery won!  Woohoo!!!!  Erlina cheated death!

Awwww.  On another note...does the Plead With Grim ever fail?  Every time ASim has tried it, it is always successful.

Now then, these guys began throwing the same wishes every single day.  They could be depended upon to throw:  Dance Hula.  Dance smustle.  Dance with someone.  Talk about hobbies.  Blog about hobbies.  Paris - Arts and Crafts. and Games.  Erlina - Science.  Avery - Music and Dance.  Which made for easy play, and gave the kids plenty of opportunity to do what ever  they wanted, as ASimWen was mostly hands off once the wishes were in.  Pics:

Avery and Paris talking hobbies.  Paris and random dormie playing chess.  Paris ran a gamut of wishes to get logic points.  Did it through chess, and thus how she started wishing to blog about games.

Paris eventually gained entrance to Games of Glory as did Avery.  Paris had brought a bowling lane with her in her backpack which was placed outside along the side of the dorm, and Avery constantly played.

Paris calling her man Aubrey for a chat....Avery doing the hula.  Erlina had a wish to eat omeletts, among all the blogging wishes.  Erlina also holds a wish to max the Science hobby, due to hours she is spending stargazing.

ASimWen was looking at something else, and heard the "Falling In Love" sound???  Who the heck was it???  It was Avery and this girl.  Ha.  So ASimWen set up a date for them.  Will keep a close eye to see if Avery or the girl throws engagement or marriage.  Think she will be brought back to the neighborhood and made a townie.

Spring time sprung, and the kids started throwing romantic tupe wishes.  Paris wanted to date so she called her fiancee.  Look at this, Aubrey threw marry Paris.  It was locked in.

At this point ASimWen was taking pictures with Fraps by pressing the button on the keyboard that takes the picture.  ASim failed to note that Fraps wasn't actually running.  But, the kids all finished sophomore year.  Ha.

The kids are juniors now!

By now the kids are looking for the light at the end of the tunnel.  They are ready to take leave of University. It was rare that everyone had a chance to sit to together to eat, let alone with love frenimies...

Mona is suffering from invisible dormie syndrome.  Avery began to feel nervous as both of the girls sitting in front of him were both gorgeous, and had both kissed him on different occasions.  But he loved only one of them.  He felt like it was time to get it out in the open.`

Yes, right in front of half invisible Mona Avery let Arianna know she was really great. 

That didn't go over well with Mona. *slap slap slap*!!!  From this point on there was plenty of hate going around, on both sides!

With all the Pleasure/Romance Sim drama out of the way life goes on as usual.  Talk about hobbies....

Talk about hobbies.........................yak yak yak

And play games/blog about games and arts and crafts...It was the same thing every day, quite mundane.  Then something was brought to the dorm that stirred everyone up.

It was the perfect place to cap off a wish to "Ask Sim on Date".

A photo booth to WooHoo.  This was not Avery's wish, but Arianna's.  But needless to say, it was not an issue to get 5 wishes in a day.

Hey here is something different....winning the gaming hobby plaque after blogging about games....oh and let's think about getting married while blogging....heh

Let's talk about hobbies after coming back from class...and let's do that when we get up the next morning...

Decided on this day to get the wishes in by satisfying "Ask Sim On Date"...ya know...just to stir things up a little, and make it fun.  Avery threw this wish almost every day and it was kept locked in to use just in case talk about hobbies/blog about hobbies didn't spin up for him .  Well, they spun up.  Every. Single. Day.  But okay, let's use up the Ask Sim On Date wish.  Which ended in get pictures taken in the photo booth.  Fun times.

Woah Ho!  What is this???  The resident Fortune Sim has discovered the magic lamp.  Of course she wished for money, netting herself a cool 22K to take back to the neighborhood with her.  Well.  That was exciting.

While Erlina was wishing for her money, ASimWen spied two Sims arguing at the other end of the sidewalk.  Oh my, it is Avery's two loves.  Arianna and Mona were fighting over him!  Looks like Mona is a sore loser in the man arena...but is a winner when it comes to bullying Sims around.

The Next Day

Arianna confronts Mona.  My doesn't she look fierce....and Mona is taken by surprise. Grrrrr!!!!

Alright alright...a new set of enemies at University.....really ladies...men are totally NOT WORTH IT.

Avery and Paris return from class to catch the tail end of the fight.

Avery is quite worried about Arianna, and Paris cheers Mona on!

Arianna loses...again.  this should teach her not to pick on bullies.

Mona celebrates her win by sitting in Avery's chair in his room and staring at his bed. Weird-o!

The Next Day......

(The kids' last day as a Junior, as a matter of fact)

OOh noooo!  What happened here?  ASimWen missed it....but betting that Mona flirted with Avery, and betting he liked it!  Craftily planned by Mona so Arianna would see it!  OH NO!

Avery begs forgiveness from Arianna.....oh my.....somehow Mona didn't care whether or not she and Avery ever got back together.  She'd had her revenge!

Early the next morning was final exam.

Erlina won a wish to get on the Dean's list.  And the kids rolled all the usual....Avery wanted to go on a date (but who should he ask), Erlina:  play marco polo, blog about games, talk about hobbies, go bowling, and play chess.  Paris:  Blog about games and arts and crafts, sew a project, play PC games and go bowling.  *sigh*

Done, done, and done.

So Avery managed to get a date with Arianna, she was still mad at him but the date went ok. She never rolled "woohoo" as she always had in the past.  He got his 5 wishes in.  Paris received a call from BJ Gaither complaining that he hadn't heard from her in a while.  She returned his call, but wasn't happy about it.  She had long ago stopped wishing for him to attend Univeristy with her, and besides she was engaged to Aubrey now.

After her first day of class as a senior, Erlina did her term paper, bowled a little, then finally threw college related wishes.  Do research, and influence someone to do her term paper.  It is about time! Unlike Avery and Paris, she has not managed to find love.  Perhaps she will stay single allow her twin Avery and her sister Zena to carry on the Kent Capp line!

Even after talking this dormie into doing her homework and then doing research with her, Erlina resumed having gaming related wishes  *sigh*

Well here is a turn of events.  Mona picked on Arianna again, and Arianna had had enough.  She took Mona to the tile and kicked her butt.  Finally!  Mona left her alone for the rest of this visit in Uni.

Did this move Avery's attraction to Arianna from two bolt to three?????  OOohhh myyyyyy!

Finally!  The last semester of college!  Lets hope it goes fast!

LAST SEMESTER

Arlightie then, how many different ways can it be presented what these guys wish for.  So here is this, back to our fighting dormies:

Not sure what is going to happen to Mona.  She had run into Avery's room to once again sit in his chair as if it were her very own throne.  ASimWen used move objects to move her to this chair in the common area.  She has been there for two days.  Maybe Grim will come for her??  She noticed that Arianna thought she was getting stinky, so she knows what is going on around her.

Avery and Arianna decided to have a little fun and dated right in front of Mona.....she was frozen watching them.

GRRRRR!!!!!

Lots of Sim dislike going on in the dorm...but no more fights.  ASimWen kept checking Mona's needs and comfort of course stayed high, but the rest didn't seem to move much.  It would take a looooong time for Grim to come for her.  *sigh*  Decided to force reset and let Mona out of her silent prison.

Before you know it, Mona is seeking Avery out and smacking him around.  Then it was all about how Arianna needed a shower.  Silly Sims....

Well the last three days of University went fast...lots of speed forward after a bunch of blogging, and talking about hobbies of course.  Then it was graduation time.

Yay!  Oops... looks like Avery indulged at the food counter too much.  He can only hope that he ages up into something to cover that beer belly.

First to go was Paris.  She went back to Veronaville and moved in with Aubrey in his fancy apartment.

Next was Erlina.  She moved into an apartment right across from Aubrey and Paris's.

Lastly was Avery.  Uh.  Need to go get some new clothes to cover that beer belly as soon as you get home, Avery.  He moved in with Erlina.

And that is it for this Uni round...It was fun, and easy.

Next, Aubrey and Paris will be visited in their new apartment, last lot in this round, then it is back to Pleasantview.
