Veronaville Round 5 - Monty - Romeo and Juliette

Probably the most famous couple in Veronaville!  Romeo and Juliette!  So what are they up to?  Let's see!

Romeo Monty

Romance/Fortune - Wants to be a Rock God

Romeo is perm plat by way of having his wishes fulfilled.  Romeo is currently a Summer Camp Music Teacher, and must scrape for every skill point in this job. as he did not skill much when he was a teen back home on the Monty Ranch being raised by his granny Isabella. 

His beginning wishes:  Reach TOC, hustle pool, buy a painting costing at least $5,000, and entertain.  However his wishes will not be fulfilled unless by accident.  ha. Romeo will age up to elder in two days.

Juliette (Capp) Monty

Family/Knowledge - Wants to be a Captain Hero

Juliette is currently a Lieutenant, and like Romeo has to work hard for every single skill point.

Her first wishes:  Be friends with and play with Elgar Capp, Agnes Capp the doggo learns a command, and Otis the dog gets a job.  Juliette will age up to elder in 7 days.

Rosaline Monty

Fortune/Pleasure - Become the Law

Rosaline looks a great deal like her father.  Her first wishes are:  Tell an inside joke, go to University, get into Private School, and sneak out with Barron Monty.  She just became a teenager last round so has a full 15 days to go.  Although, she did make a wish with the genie last round that set her age back 4 days.  Her father has a recessive blond gene.

The Breeders

This is EA dog Otis, and his mate is Agnes Capp from Hermia and Tybalt's breeding pen at Capp Manor.  Dang Otis needs a bath.  They produced one litter last round and is probably pregnant this round.

Here is what happened last round.  It wasn't a real show stopper of a visit, but it was more like a Week In The Life of the Monty Family.  Rosaline threw wishes to do things with her mother, command the dogs around, and enjoyed a couple of visits with Barron Monty which would net her a lot of aspiration points.  Juliette threw typical Family Sim wants.  Doing things with Rosaline and the dogs, which included teaching them commands.  They became quite smart dogs.  She constantly rolled buy a piano, but there was not room for one of those in the house.  Romeo somehow wanted mechanical skills which morphed into getting toy making badges.  And the dogs started making a new batch of puppies on Friday, so the new litter will be born anytime this round.

LET'S PLAY!

Everyone immediately leaves the house.  Romeo and Juliette off to work, and Rosaline off to school. 

In the afternoon, Rosaline got her homework done, didn't want unfinished work laying around because the Headmaster was due to visit.  She wanted in Private School something kinda bad!

Five o'clock rolled around, and Rosaline had her homework done, and was well rested. (energizer).  She was ready to WOW this man so she could get into his school.

The tour of the house went well, until the HM told Rosaline it was nice, meaning he was done looking at the house.  It was time for dinner. 

Juliette had made lobster all on her own, undirected by ASim, who doesn't usually have the Sims make fancy food for the HM because it will usually go wrong.  This was a stroke of good luck!

Great!  Rosaline is in lke Flynn.  This girl will more than likely be going to Uni next round.

Rosie celebrated gaining admittance into Private School by sneaking out with Barron Monty, her uncle.  This also fulfilled the wish she harbored.

She returned home at 4:05am, mom and dad none the wiser.  heh

She wanted to do it again...but now fears getting caught and arrested.  Note that she wants to go to Uni, and to teach both of her dogs tricks.

She got started teaching Agnes "play dead" before the school bus showed up.

Juliette's wishes were Family type wishes.  Talk about hobby, serve food, ect.

After discussing her hobby in cooking with Romeo, she rolled many wishes for him getting her wishes in for Tuesday.

This day also happened to be Romeo's cake up day.  Woohoo!  Invited:  Romeo's brother Mercutio and his wife Miranda (Capp) Monty, then Juliette's sister Hermia and her husband Puck Summerdream.  Also attending was a random townie.

Hope he "wished" for something worthwhile!

Yay! Woohoo!  Clap clap clap!

There he is, the silver fox Romeo!  The hat he has had since he was a teen needs to go tho....

Better!  Felt like he needed to keep a hat since he has worn one in since forever.

Juliette's secondary aspiration kicked in and she wished to see a wolf...and not one but two leaders of the pack wondered into the yard.  That is almost spooky.

And one last thing happened during Romeo's birthday party.  3 puppies were born.  ASimWen has the Weather Channel on watching coverage for Hurricane Barry, so these pups were named after famous storms in the US of A.  Romeo called for them to be picked up.  More puppies tried for, coming.

It is safe to say Juliette is extremely reliable with her wishes.  Wants to talk about hobbies.  Whichever Sim she does this with, she then rolls a plethora of wishes to do things with that Sim.  Appreciate, entertain, ect.  She is a wishing machine.

Aww.  Juliette had two cell phones in her backpack, so she gave one to Rosaline for her admittance to Private School.  Rosaline was surprised and happy~!

Now Rosaline handles her "talk about hobbies" a little differently.  She calls friends over to talk to them and build up relationships.  This day she called over Barron Monty.  Now we all know he is the best one to sneak out with, show up at parties, I mean, he is the life of Veronaville.  It was just a blow to his ego and reptuation when his mom followed him to the Monty house and shoved Rosaline around for peeking at the Monty Ranch through the telescope.

He was so embarrassed he ran several yards away and began to cry.  His mom (Bottom Summerdream-Monty) was really being mean to Rosie!  However Rosie held her own and told Bottom to leave.

Notes - I don't believe I have ever seen this happen in the game.  It was amazing....it will be interesting to see Barron's relationship to his mother when the Monty Ranch play rolls around again.

What?  Doesn't the family tree show these two as Uncle and Neice?  Yes and no.  Barron's mother is Bottom Summerdream, no relation to the Montys or the Capps.  His dad is a Monty, yes....but Alon Monty was adopted in.  So he is not blood relation to the Montys or Capps either.  Therefore, the 6 children Alon and Bottom are going to marry out can marry anyone in the neighborhood except a Summerdream.  That is a relief for ASimWen!  But the sad thing here is, is that these two have zero bolts.  Nada.  So don' think this is going to go anywhere.

So what are these two doing when there is ummmm... nothing to do?  They make money on the hobby benches and work toward badges.

So what is Rosie up to?  Well she got a job in the gaming industry as games are her one true hobby, and she is a Fortune Sim, and....she is in Private School!  It wasn't a hard decision to make!

Promoted up the first day and is now teen-TOC!  Go you, Rosie!  This also means a $750 scholarship for Uni!

Two more pups....Ryan and Morta.  Gone to Animal Control....more puppies tried for and yes, more on the way.  At this point, Agnes was really too old to have more pups, but she ate from the kibble of life bowl to get 5 more days.  But this is the last time adding days to her life, and she will be moved on to Beatrice's retirement home nexet round, more than likely.

Right around Saturday morning, Rosie decided to hit the ballet barre to burn a few calories.  Juliette decided to peek through the telescope at guess who...yeah the Monty Ranch.  Then she went inside to talk hobbies with Rosie.

Yup, Bottom came over to holler at Juliette.  They used to be friends but weren't any more.  Juliette is now furious with Bottom.

It really upset Rosaline to see her mom get pushed around like that.  She ran upstairs to her bedroom to cry.

Grrrrrrrr!!!!!!

All the peeking drama over with, Juliette hits the robotics bench.  She gets her silver!  Woohoo!

In an effort to get in shape, earn body points and possibly the Tsang Footwork Scholarship, Rosaline put in some time on the ballet barre, and also did some painting to develop creativity.  This netted her a membership to both of the My Muse secret clubs.

More wolf action.  This is Widget.  He came to the lot twice in one night.  He and Juliette are getting

pretty tight.  She rolls see wolf and become a werewolf every single night.  Perhaps Widget will help her out with that.  Eventually.

Sunday night was Juliette's cake up day.  No big party was had, just the family.

Aww. She is a pretty elder.  She will need new clothes, that there is a mini skirt she is wearing, and just won't do.  Nope.  

Just like during Romeo's birthday, puppies were born, and were immediately shipped off to Animal Control.  Rinse, repeat.  More on the way.

And this is where we leave the Montys for this round, with Rosaline fulfilling a wish to play darts early Monday morning. 

Summary

So this round the dogs contributed 8 puppies to the Veronaville adoption pool, and are pregnant with another litter.  Both Romeo and Juliette aged up to elderhood, Romeo being perm plat so things are pretty easy for him, but Juliette is still working toward TOC to get her perm plat status.  Romeo earned a gold in toymaking, Juliette worked up to silver in Robotics, and Rosaline earned memberships to the two My Muse hobby lots.  Juliette threw primarily Family Sim type wishes in the mornings, but in the evenings her knoweldge Sim self kicked in and she started having wolfie wishes.  She is pretty close to Leader of the Pack Widget so hopefully Juliette can get a nibble from him next round and have her wish to become a werewolf fulfilled.    Rosaline kept the wish to go to university almost 100% of the time and will be going next round.  She did get the secondary aspiration of Pleasure and threw Ask Sim On Date every day.  However ASimWen did decide to try to get her wishes in by doing gaming things.

It turns out that she and Barron Monty do have two bolts and shared a first kiss:

Awww.  How sweet.  Maybe they will be a couple.

Ending wishes:

Romeo:  Get TOC, get hobby plaque in Music and Dance, Ask Sim on Date, and win a dance contest.  (When has he been dancing???)

Juliette:  Learn couples counseling, buy a piano, see a wolf, and be bff with townie Brian Hunicke.

Rosaline:  Earn some money, Ask Sim on a date, get a hand held game, and talk about hobbies.
