Veronaville Round 4 Summerdream

Ahhh my favorite TS2 family.  They are looking alot different these days...Puck has married Hermia Capp and moved in to Capp Manor, Bottom married Alon Monty and is living at the Monty Ranch.  So, it looks like little Aelita will carry on in the Summerdream mansion.

Beginning wishes:

Oberon - Knowledge, Max Seven Skills

Study about parenting, invite someone over, max logic skill, get a skill points.  First wish fulfilled:  create pottery.

Titania - Family,  Raise 20 puppies or kittens

She wants to play with, reach logic level 1, retire, and study about parenting.  First wish fulfilled:  create pottery.

Aelita - Family - graduate 3 children from college

Join Garden Club, be BF with Kimberly Monty, go to Uni, and get logic 1.  Join Garden Club was unchecked and the logic skill was checked.  Upon taking a look at the garden, it was barren so would be days before ready for inspection.  So, first wish fulfilled after school:  entertain.

When the lot opens Aelita was playing Spore on the computer.  The school bus comes, and out the door she runs.  She crossed paths with the Nature Chick, having won entry to Peerless Park.

While at school in Botany class, she had a tough decision to make.  Organics, or let the tiny plants fend for themselves?

Yay the plants win and Aelita gets 100 simoleons to boot.

In the mean time Titania and Oberon settle down to play some chess to get those logic wishes out of the way, after throwing some clay on the pottery wheel producing a couple of plates fulfilling the pottery wishes.

Eventually Oberon having maxed logic, moved on to study physiology to work up his body skill.  Aelita took his place at the chess board to satisfy the logic skill want.  Apparently Titania has been playing a lot of games, winning a membership to Games of Glory.  Aelita had brought home a friend from school and fulfilled many wishes to 'play with' and 'entertain'.  She made a new friend!  (townie)

By now it is the wee hours of Tuesday morning, and Oberon has finished studying Physiology.  Before working up those body skill points Oberon decides to visit with Bailey the wolf who has been barking at the back door.  He wished to play with him.

Bailey was happy to get the attention, but didn't stay long once he was greeted.  He had been standing there barking for a while and there was not enough time for Oberon to work his relationship up with Bailey high enough to bring up "play".

Once Bailey made his exit, Oberon could move forward and max out body skill.  This means he does not have much further to go to max all skills.

Oberon then wanted to win a gaming competition.  He was up against Travis the rude pest control guy (remember how he told off Alon Monty on the Monty lot) and Mokato Traver the Gaming guy joined in.

*sigh*  Oberon immediately challenged again.

Aelita showed up to play, but did not join her father's competition.  No one wanted to play Oberon again, so the wish went unfilfilled.

Well if this were a Legacy play, this would be a hotspot for picking up NPCs.  The chef, the pest control guy, and a professor.  heh.  Anyway, the sourpuss pest control guy was busy picking fights, thus the reason no one joined Oberon's invitation to play games.  He went home feeling tired, but glad to have gotten out of the house for a while.

Tuesday Snookie and  Mr. Huggles's kittens grew up.  This is Cam.

And this is Gloria.  Aelita had returned home from school to find her parents sleeping (Oberon exhausted from playing games, and Titania from doing yard work) so she called out for the kitties to be picked up.  This only makes 8 kitties grown up to satisfy Titania's 20 wish.  Drastic measures are going to have to be taken.

Fay Capp dropped by and was happy to buy Cam from the Summerdreams.  Aelita was happier that he would go to a good home, then going to the animal shelter.

She was sure this was a good move.  Fay fell in love with Cam right away.  Later having awakened from her nap, Titania urged Mr. Snuggles to try for kittens again with Snookie, and the try was successful.  More kittens were on the way!

Being the good Family Sim that she was, Titania wished to be able to fix broken relationships if it should happen.

On Thursday, Titania finally realized a week long dream of reaching max enthusiasm in Gaming.  Aelita showed  support in her mother's endeavors by playing chess with her.

Go you, Titania!  The day had been long, and Titania retired to bed after the visit from the Gaming dude.  Oberon had retired to bed as well; after all skilling was hard work!  Aelita decided to work on the yard for a while so no one was inside to witness the birth of three new kittens.

Three kittens this time.... named after actors in the old movie Dinner at Eight, (which was on the boob tube in ASimWen's living room when they were born).  Meet John (Barrymore) Summerdream, Jean (Harlow) Summerdream, and Marie (Dressler) Summerdream.  Ha.  Upon growing up, this will put Titania's LTW up to 11 kittens raised.  Over halfway there.

Friday morning sees the Summerdreams having breakfast.  Looks like they are discussing their new grandchildren Barron and Jackson Monty, Bottom and Alon's children.

The Summerdreams started influencing their neighbors to help with the yard work.  Their poor butler could never get anything done inside the house because of the huge yard with all the leaf raking that needed to be done.

Darn you Oberon and your wishes to read these subjects.  Life long happiness.  You need to sit down and blog about gaming for a while so you can win the hobby plaque you harbor a wish for!

Titania and Oberon finally go back to work on Friday night, and Titania gets this card.  Having usually move my Simmies out of the Slacker career as soon as they get TOC, I don't remember ever seeing this.  But who knows.

Woot woot woot!  This doubles the amount of cash on hand for the Summerdreams!

While mom and dad was working Aelita entertained this townie....hottubbing and cooking hotdogs on the grill.  Then it was time to work on the yard.  Aelita and her Family Sim brain started mulling over whether or not this boy would be good husband material.

Saturday is a day for visiting family.  Bottom and Barron along with their cats have come to visit.  Alon stayed at the Monty ranch with baby Jackson.

Titania was so glad to see them.

Titania and Bottom jump on the karaoke machine.  Bottom was in much better voice than her mother!

The men turned to important matters such as grilling hotdogs!  Barron was happy to be with his grandpa.

The girls joined them, and the conversation turned Bottom and Alon's third child on the way.

Aelita managed to work in a wish to tell an inside joke, then it was time for Bottom and Barron to go home.  It was a great day at the Summerdreams!

It was time then to do a little skilling...

Aelita held a wish to max cleaning.  This was realized sending her in to full platinum.  This allowed for a quick hit on the energizer, then out to shop for some clothes.  Mom and dad headed out to work as Professional Party Guests, this kept them out late.  Aelita was pretty much on her own.

She headed out to H&M Veronaville and found this fabulous outfit.

Another wish realized.  After shopping she found...

Her brother Puck.  Much to ASimWen's chagrin, the two had a zero relationship!  Well now!  Have to so something about that!  Puck was glad to see Aelita!

Aelita quickly asked Puck on an outing, and off to Londoste they went.

After eating, Aelita wanted to play some darts.  Puck asked her if she was going to go to University, and she said she didn't think so.

After darts, it was time for a drink.  Ol' Mrs. Crumplebottom was there drinking up.

WHAT A LUSH!

Aelita was happy to have spent so much time with her brother.  Their relationship was at 100.

 To show appreciation, Puck brought a third pinball machine by. heh  It was immediately sold off.

  Oberon and Titania returned home from work, unaware that Aelita had been out all night.

Settling on the computer after a long shift partying, Oberon finally gets that hobby plaque in Gaming.  It was a huge win for him.

Sunday morning dawned, and Bailey came around again.  Oberon finally got to play with him.

Aelita threw wishes to see Bottom again.  Play with, talk to. So she got on the phone and invited her over.

The butler managed to make lunch for everyone.  Being that he was now getting help with the outside work.  Aelita wanted to talk about babies.  She hoped to have three of her own someday.

At 6 PM Oberon's birthday warning popped.  Time to have a par-tay!  Puck and Hermia were invited, and a Summerdream party was in full swing.

Oberon has had a good life.  Looks like his LTW of max all skills won't happen until next time this lot is played.

The party wore on so long that Titania and Oberon left for work, Puck went home early, Bottom grabbed a bed to lay down in, and Aelita went to bed as well.  Hermia partied by herself.  She sat down and contemplated how she had not had any children yet.  Would she ever?  (raise 20 pets).

And, the party ends this round.  Monday morning before the bus comes sees Aelita doing the same thing as when the lot opened.  Playing Spore.

Ending Wishes:

Oberon:

Play pc gams, serve food, max Culinary enthusiasm, and blog about games.  Looks like his is conflicted about what he wants!  His wishes rotated mainly around skilling.  Easy peasy Knowledge Sim.

Titania:

Make pottery, max enthusiasm in arts and crafts, blog about games, and give a gift.  Seems that most of her wishes were about her hobbies and interacting with family members.

Aelita:

Buy a handheld game, catch a butterfly, catch fireflies, and call Bottom.  She had gotten enough exposure working in the yard that nature wishes started to throw.
