Here we are vising one of the favorite Pleasantview couples of Simmers everywhere; Dustin and Angela Broke. ASimWen has always let the Sims in this neighborhood choose their own spouse and in this case, the Sims chose to go with the EA storyline. Dustin and Angela. In this play, the couple only had one child; Anna who looks very much like her father. She is a college graduate, as is her chosen better half, Joseph Burb son of John and Jennifer.

Seems interesting! What happened in round 6? Dustin and Angela were empty nesters, Anna having already flown the coop to University. There was very little interference from ASimWen. Dustin and Angela just did what ever they wanted, much of the time! They did enter Sim Elderhood, and retired from working choosing to concentrate on hobby plaques and badges. Both are unemployed now. The house is stuffed with hobby plaques, career rewards. Has a nice grove of fruit trees, and garden which is not currently producing and of course the wishing well. And that's about it! Let's get with it!
Right off the bat lots of money was made from Brandi's passing, Dustin's mother.
Joe was the first recipient of wishes granted.

Kiss Anna.... (aww isn't that cute. Their undies match) And there were a couple of minor wishes fulfilled. 5 done for Joe.
The Brokes have two cats that Dustin bought from Don Lothario. The kitty woohoo interaction had broken on the Lothario lot. Being there was a Sim in the house who wanted to raise 20 (Don's daughter Gayle) the cats had to leave the lot. So they were sold to Dustin as a breeding pair.
Now here is something interesting. No one in the house had any sort of relationship with the cats. Zero points. But the cats of course liked each other a lot. Angela was able to influence them to try for kittens, and it worked. Kittens were on the way.
In the meanwhile. ASimWen directed Dustin to go work in the garden. The trees were falling into ill health, it was going to be winter soon and there was some fruit to harvest. Probably better send Dustin and Angela to do other things...their unmarried daughter was in the house woohooing her fiancee. heh
After woohoo. Joe headed right to the computer to look for a job. Why look at that, his desired field came up first thing. This career had not been done yet in the house. He will be perm plat shortly. He immediately threw a wish to get TOC.
Anna retired to her old bedroom as a teen and quickly painted up a masterpiece, which sold for a tidy sum. It was her one and only wish granted this day.
Joe on the other hand was chewed out by his dad for peeking at him through the telescope. heh
Tuesday
It took Dustin all day to get the fruit trees back into shape. After a hit on the energizer, he returned to the novel writing he was doing last round. He is working toward the hobby plaque in film and lit. He finished the book almost immediately and received $2,449 simoleons for it. He started another book straight away.
Anna's desired field of culinary did not come up on the computer this day. Her wishes: Get hobby plaque in Arts and Crafts, get a bubble blower, get a pottery wheel and a toy making bench, buy a painting and buy a sculpture. Granted: get a pottery wheel and a toy making bench, painting and buy a sculpture. New things that rolled up: get the bronze in toymaking and pottery wheel, have a sports party, and play with. Hm.
Bronze in toymaking won, fulfilling that wish for Anna.
Ha. TOC in music for Joe. New LTW: Become a Criminal Mastermind. Woo. Joe has a locked in wish to ask Sim on a date, as does Anna. And so it was!
Wednesday
Joe is prem plat now, so he wishes do not have to be fulfilled. Woo. However he is loving the telescope these days. Hangs out there a lot.
Anna on the other hand is still getting wishes fulfilled. On Wednesday she has "Get hobby plaque in arts and crafts" locked in, ask sim on date, get silver badge in toymaking, perform music for tips, buy a bubble blower, and have a sports party. *whew* these Uni grads have more wishes to list!
There it is! The hobby plaque for Arts and Crafts won. This put her in such a good mood a date was done with Joe, five wishes in before daybreak.
However don't know that these two will ever get married even though they are a three bolt match and terribly in love. Everytime they date:
Anna throws wishes to fall in love with Harry, Joe's brother. No wishes to get married.
Being a Romance Sim, Joe keeps fears to get married. And.. wants to fall in love with other women. Hmmm.... the minute ASimWen sees 'get married' from either one of these two it is gonna happen quick.
So in effort to shake up their wishes, ASimWen allowed "Make Out" which they were both showing wishes for during the date. This spurred "woohoo" and "woohoo in car". Uh-huh. ASim avoids "make out" to keep the chance of pregnancy down. Risky has it's own ideas sometimes.
Of course after the two woohoos...Joe threw:

Thursday
Anna's wishes: Have a party, go out to eat, perform music for tips, ask sim on a date, talk to and play with. Pleasure Sim throw such easy wishes.
Woot. Anna was so happy her desired job came up on the computer! Being that it was just after midnight when she checked, she couldn't have that party she wanted. So, she went back to the toy making bench.
Another milestone. She did not have a wish for this, but a badge earned nonetheless.
Her fiancee and dad were outside having dudes time together.
Joe wanted that hobby plaque in science so did a lot of stargazing. It just so happened that Dustin had the same plaque and could give Joe some science pointers.
Joe heard Anna calling his name, went in the house. A quick check of the computer showed his desired job in criminal was posted. He took it.
Before heading out to her first day at work, Anna asked Joe on a home date. He of course agreed, He kept the fear of getting married to Anna the whole date.
Darn it. I didn't get Joe's ending fears in the "end of date" picture. Nothing but Anna's great big ol' yawn. It was a dream date, very fun for both of them but worthy of a yawn from Anna I guess. Note Joe rolled woohoo after the date, it was locked in. But anywhoo, here is his fears:
He no longer feared getting married to Anna. This is a step in the right direction!
Anna marched off to work full platinum due to a successful date with her man, and needs full. Oh looky. She has the "fortune" icon above her head. Apparently she feels she is going to make a lot of simoleons.
While Anna was at work....
Her mother Angela managed a gold badge in robot making. Now she could make a servo. If she wanted.
Joe maxed mechanical, as he needed two more skill points to promote up in the criminal field.

Anna is now TOC, and permanent platinum. Everyone in this house is platinum, so no need to fulfill wishes. Getting out of the car behind her is Daisy Goth, Alexander Goth's wife.
Friday
Shortly after 6 am, Anna arose with a wish to talk and play with a relative, and play kicky bag. Her mom and dad were just the ticket.

The phone rang at 6 am, with an outing for Angela. All old college chums who had not aged at all....it seem awkward. Angela is gossiping about her sister's baby daddy, and old college chum, Neil Leong.
There was some game playing...(and looks like flirting going on between Ben Long and Ivy Lothario (Don's wife). Boy Ben gets around, he also flirted with Lilith Pleasant...he acts more like a Romance Sim than a Knowledge Sim...
Then there was food....it was a good time all around.
Dustin in the meantime felt he should like to come out of retirement, maybe do something at Pleasantview General. He began checking the computer every day, but so far nothing.
At 11 pm Joe arrived home from work, and as was his usual habit, hit the 'scope to work toward the Science hobby plaque.
Saturday
It was then that he spotted a UFO. He was sure of it. Just as he turned and called Anna to come look...
He was snatched up, and taken for a ride. Quite a thing to happen to a Romance Sim!
Anna saw the whole thing, and searched in vain for her fiancee through the 'scope. Where did he go?
Dustin who happened to not be counseling Joe on telescoping this night was completely unaware of what was going on outside, found his desired job on the computer. He started that night at 7 pm as an EMT. He was very excited.

Anna was extremely relieved her fiancee was returned in one peice, as was Dustin and Angela. They cheered Joe on. But he was not happy. He thought it might be best to work toward his Science plaque by playing chess and watching Sim Weather on TV.
In the meanwhile, Anna was showing wishes: Talk about hobby, make some pottery, dance with someone, blog about arts and crafts, ask Sim on date, and sew something. She wanted to work on hobbies.
As usual, Anna chose Ask Sim On date.THEN IT HAPPENED.
It was quickly locked in! Apparently Joe getting abducted and knocked up by aliens turned Anna on to marriage. She still spun up a wish to fall in love with Joe's brother Harry, but wanting to marry Joe takes precedence!
An alter was quickly erected in the living room, a wedding cake was pulled out of somewhere, (it was as if Angela had it stashed in the freezer or something), and all the Burbs and Dustin's brothers were called.
At least Joe didn't showing any fears of getting married...he held a neutral stance on it.
Although he did get an unpleasant memory. Whereas Anna received a big deposite into her aspiration bank.
Angela and Dustin were extremely pleased. So who else came to this shindig?
Left to right - Beau Broke, Jennifer Burb (looking stoic as usual), Anna's unrequited crush Harry Burb, and then there is Family Sim John. He also received a lot of aspiration points for this wedding.
Left to right - Harry's twin Ida, Charles Broke, and Lucy (Burb) Tellerman, the evil witch. It is her sons Arthur and Wally Tellerman that date many of the teen-age girls in the neighborhood.
Anna was extremely happy to have a witchy sister in law.
John got his Family Sim batteries recharged getting caught up with Harry and Ida.
Aww poor Joe. Morning sickness right in the middle of his wedding party. At any rate the wedding party was a roof raiser...very successful!
Dustin came home from his first day as an EMT and felt really good. Oh look. It is Neil Leong, Lilith's significant other and father of her two children Minnie and Clarence. Now we know what his job is.
Neil had a fleeting and only a fleeting thought about stealing the garden gnome the Brokes have in the front yard. Sentry Bot got right on the job.
Sunday
It was a quiet day around the house, although Dustin and Anna had to go to work. Like father, like daughter. They caught the same carpool home:

Angela and Joe spent the day/evening watching TV and breaking bread together. Joe was now on maternity leave and received plenty of good advice from Angela about being pregnant. Even though it had been decades for Angela...and erm...Joe was a guy...who was pregnant...how could it be different?
And this is where we leave the Brokes for round 7. It was tons of fun!
