Veronaville Round 5 - Monty - Antonio

Ah!  ASimWen is finally caught up with play.  This lot was last played February 11th, 2019.  Woo.  Lets see what is up with the Montys!

Is perm platinum, and 64 years old.  Antonio is a Celebrity Chef.  His wishes will not be fulfilled unless he rolls woohoo, or unless ASimWen accidentally does it.  haha  At any rate, here are his first wishes:  Be friends with Abbey, Alegra, and Bailey, and become a warlock.

Benedick is currently a Captain Hero, and is engaged to townie Trista Riley whom he only has a two bolt attraction to.   He and Ariel Capp are terrible in love and Ariel has had his love child Rod.  But so far the Sim fates have not worked out for them, and they are not together.  First Wishes:  Be BFFs with Fay Capp, and be friends with Abbey, Alegra, and Bailey

Popularity - Wants to be a Captain Hero

Oh boy.  What can I say about Bea?  She and Tybalt Capp are an item, but Ty has to hang around Capp Manor until his LTW is fulfilled, and that is to have 20 best pet friends.  His sister Hermia has an LTW of raising 20.  So it is.  Bea had a rendezvous with Ty and became pregnant, so we will see a new Monty this visit!  She is perm plat having reached 20 Best Friends last round.  First wishes:  Be friends with Abbey, Alegra, and Bailey, and Avalon Monty.

Retired Breeders:

From the Monty Ranch:  Kitties Alegra and Bailey, and from Capp Manor:  Abbey. These wonderful pets contributed to the Veronaville pet pool by donating many kittens and puppies to be adopted.  Alegra is 35 days old, Bailey is 31 days old, and Abbey is 26.  Beatrice found her calling by giving elder pets a place to live out their lives in comfort and luxury.  They gladly come here to live to make room in their former homes for fresh breeding pairs to keep the kittens and puppies coming. 

So what happened last round?  Well it was a fragmented entry, split by a two year hiatus. It was all about Antonio and Bea having become perm plat.  Bea was treated to falling in love with Tybalt Capp, and that rascal Benedick never did spin up marriage to his finacee, townie Trista Riley.  It may never happen, who knows.  But he is a regular baby making machine with his real love, Ariel Capp.  Ariel has already had one child with Bennie, and is pregnant a second time.  A genie lamp as delivered, and Antonio made quick work out of  it wishing up money as the family was till living in poverty.

This round a new home was built for the Montys, with all the new pets and the baby coming more room was needed.   Soooo...LET'S PLAY!

My Inspiration:

Benedick flew off to work as Captain Hero, and Bea had a rough start. First she realized an inheritance from Albany Capp, then she had a bout of morning sickness. Antonio is oblivious to everything going on, playing with Abbey is the name of the day for him.

Benedick returned from work with a wish to Ask A Sim on a Date, but was turned down by his fiancee Trista!  She must be angry with him.  Bennie needs to do something about that....To fulfill his wishes for the day, Bennie went hiking, blogged about Nature, and did some bird watching in the front yard.

Bea held a job in the education system as a University Guest Lecturer, but her heart was in law enforcement.  It came up in the job listings, and she took it, even though it was a lower level job.

On Tuesday, Benedick rolled out of bed wanting to ask a Sim on a date.  So he invited Trista over without asking her on a date.  She came over.

He asked her out, and she refused him.  He didn't understand! There was only that little 'ol date at the club with Ariel, well, yeah Trista saw that.  Maybe that is why she is mad.  (Yes, Trista's hair changed.  Don't like it, her brows don't match.  Will have to fix.)

So Bennie decided the needed to do something about this awful love triangle.  His fiancee won't get close to him, and Ariel, well, she is really the cat's meow but he can't (shouldn't) be with her .  But doggone it!  So Benedict covertly called Ariel to come over while Trista was there.  Yeah.  he was gonna fix it alright.

Oh my.  But he did love her.

Ohhh this is gonna get ugly.

Bennie, you brazen thing you.  Poor Trista could do nothing but watch. 

When Trista protested, Bennie told her they were through....she couldn't believe her ears.  He was breaking off their engagement!

Benedick and Ariel continued their date, oblivious to Trista's broken heart.  She couldn't bring herself to leave the lot...finally he told her to leave.  And he told her to leave again.

Oh yes, back to the old Bennie.  Off they went to the bedroom.  Even though Ariel was feeling morning sickness being pregnant with Benedick's child, she could woohoo with him any time!

In the mean while Beatrice was showing her first baby bump.  She wanted to have a few people over to celebrate the little Capp that was on the way.  Man.  Love these new maternity defaults. 

These two had no shame. During Bea's house party these two appeared right out in front of everyone after their woohoo.  It was a dream date for Benedick, having gotten all his wishes in.

Everyone stared at Benny and Ariel, carrying on as if they were alone.  Bea was starting to get thoroughly embarrassed.

Fay played chess the whole time on the back patio with...you guessed it...Trista.  Trista ran out real quick to the beauty salon, got her hair dyed,  and then visited H&M Veronaville for a new dress.  Looks like Fay won some sort of big wish, not sure what it was?  Maybe to get a BFF with someone?  Trista did not even leave when the party was over.  She had to be told to leave.  Again.

Nice date gift for Bennie.  It is the second one the family owns.  Perhaps someone will get abducted in the future!

In the meanwhile, Antonio worked toward the Film and Literature hobby plaque by writing a novel.

Woohoo!  More simoleons for the household!

And Beatrice studied up on Physiology so she could quickly max the body skills she was going to need for her new job in Law Enforcement.

By now it was Wednesday.

Benedick was holding a wish to fall in love with Trista again.  *sigh*  Not is ASimWen's plans, but it is what Bennie wants. Ok.  Now they were not so furious with each other, but it was going to be a long way before they fell in love again, so Benedick sent Trista on her way, and decided to try to work on "woohoo with five Sims".

He hit up the wishing well for romance and got:

A beautiful red head named Cassidy somebody.  Three bolt attraction.  On their way to the bedroom, Cassidy mentioned she had a friend, and would Benedick like to meet her in a blind date?  He said yes.  Stupid.

A date immediately started with this girl Jane Goldman.  Another three bolt attraction.  Cassidy slapped ol' Bennie around and immediately left the lot.  heh.  Of course it was going to be a while before he and Jane liked each other enough for woohoo so Benedick was done for the day.  Whew.

During all this Romance Sim drama...

Grim came for Alegra.  Buh-bye Alegra.

Woooo! Time for Bea's baby to be born!

Meet a beautiful little girl named Elvira. Her father is Tybalt Capp.  She has his skintone, and mamma's hair and eyes. First wishes:  Learn to walk, potty, and talk, buy a toy and be played with by Beatrice.  She learned to talk right away,and got started on potty.  Then she was tired and mamma put her to bed.

In the mean while, a day elapsed since Cassidy slapped Benedick.  Apparently she wasn't too awfully mad.  She came right out and said she wanted to woohoo.  Bennie was all about it!

This was Benedick's fifth woohoo.  WooHoo 10 flipped up!  ha.

The date gifts rolled in after a couple of days of dates and outings....

This girl is cheap.....

Well Antonio didn't notice what his grown son was doing.  It was all about that hobby plaque in Film and Literature for him.  Finally won.

In the meanwhile, it was Elvira's cake up day.

Tybalt was invited over for cake.  Oh my but he doted on that little girl.  Who would have thunk it?  One thing is for sure...

He did not like what Benedick was doing right under the same roof where his little girl was being raised.  He wanted to fight Bennie, but Antonio talked him out of it.

Ty talked about it to Beatrice.  She seemed so serene.  Said Benedick meant no harm with all his ladies.  One of these days he would settle down.  Maybe.

OOOHhhhh Bennie.  (He is working toward woohoo with 10 Sims)

Bennie was on a hot streak.....  Benedick is an extremely charismatic Romance Sim and had no problem pulling in even the stuffy Knowledge Sim ladies.  Like this one.

In between romancing women, Benedick did manage to keep on track with his LTW to become a Celebrity Chef.  It finally came up on the computer, and he grabbed it.

Remember Jane?  The blind date via Cassidy?  She finally liked Bennie enough.  Finally.  This put Benedick up to woohoo 10 Sims.  He was no longer showing the wish for it, but it was acheived none the less.

Let me say here that ASimWen does exploit what some call a leak in this want.  Meaning that a woohoo in private and a public woohoo with the same Sim counts as two separate woohoos, and it shouldn't.  AND....ASimWen found out during this play that a tent woohoo on the home lot counted as a public woohoo.  Bennie was taking the ladies out, but realized he didn't have to do that.

Benedick used the wishing well only once....and that was a near disaster but he managed to fix it.  Did not use it again just made it a point to meet as many women as possible when he went out.

His last promotion of the week to Sous Chef. Beatrice's was to Desk Seargent.  Her aspiration and influence meter are full.

This is where we leave these two.  Benedick is studying creativity for his job, and looks like Bea is surfing for sports???  Dunno.

Odd Pic Out

Alegra the cat haunted, but just floated around and haunting objects outside.  She did not scare anyone or come in the house.  Her grave was sent to Veronaville Cemetery.

Bailey also had his Grim party.  Bennie was at work, and everyone else cried.

Summary:

It was all about Bennie, wasn't it?  He was the fun and interesting Sim in this house this play.  His ending wishes: Be friends with Caryl Zarubin and Mallory Mace, buy a vacation home, and be BFF with Regina Tsvirkunov.  He never threw get engaged again, so I think Ariel is barking up a dead tree.  She however wants to marry HIM.  It is locked in.  So she may have to catch him at a moment when he is not playable to pull him in.  My rule is, only one of the Sims in the couple has to throw the wish.  And she has.   We will see how it goes when her lot is played.

Beatrice gave birth to Tybalt Capp's child, a cute little girl named Elvira.  Tybalt is working hard to get the 20 best pet friends so he can marry Bea.  He will be an old man by the time it happens.

Antonio?  He was very easy going.  Wrote three books and earned the hobby plaque in Film and Literature.  He was also a big advocate of Elvira's care.

Her relationship is higher with her grandpa than it is with her mother and dad.
