Pleasantview Round 8 - Robert Wolosenko

Hiya!  Visiting another new lot today, that being of Robert Wolosenko.  How did he come to live in Pleasantview?

Coral Oldie married Leo Wilkie (after Herb passed, of course)/Leo became a PlantSim and spawned Sunflower/Sunflower married Mitch Wolosenko the grocery guy/Robert was born.  The last time Robert was seen, he had grown up, and moved out of Sunflower and Mitch's house.

Family - Wants to Raise 20 Puppies or Kittens

Is Currently a Drill Instructor

I know, I know, he is a gorgeous hunk of Sim.  But no plans at this moment to have him marry and procreate since his LTW is not child related.  He will peacefully work and raise puppies and kittens.  That's not to say he won't have a girlfriend or two! After all, he is a Family Sim!

Sadly neglected to get his beginning wishes.  What's wrong with ASimWen?  But I do remember two of them were talk to/play with.

Maybe the reason ASim forgot to get Robert's wishes/fears is because she was anxious to get him off the lot!  Robert headed right out to Rodney's Hangout since he was off work.

Frist thing Robert ordered up a drink, fulfilling a simple wish.  OOohh who should show up (in green sweater).  That is Margaret Caliente, daughter of Nina.  Margaret is a Romance Sim with a wish to woohoo 20.  Robert had dated her as a teen.

Not sure what wish was fulfilled here...maybe the drink one.  But again..looky.  Cowboy girl.  Her name in this version of Pleasantview is Jade Thayer.  Is it always that?  I have never played her or even really looked at her before.

Robert had a wish to play cards, and so it was!  Look who also sat down to play.  Jade, and a couple of other townies.  (want to point out that the townie in the space pirate uniform is a gal I downloaded....Emma Swan from the TV show Once Upon a Time.  Really looks like her.)

Hmmm.   Grown up Meadow Thayer.  Do you suppose she and Jade are relatives??? haha  Well now.  Meadow is a Family Sim, like Robert.

Robert leaves the game to introduce himself to Meadow.  Immediately starts thinking "engagement".  ASim thinks well better have him scope the room to see what is what.

He is really liking Jade.  Meadow doesn't glow.  Not even a little.  Checking attraction, he has two bolts for Meadow, and one for Jade.  Meadow should be glowing.

A little conversation with Jade reveals she is going to help him get promoted in his job.  So he will no longer be a drill instructor!  Yay!

Robert gets the last of his wishes in for the day wanting to flirt. With just anyone. Jade would do.  John Caliente  (Nina C+Don L = John).  is thoroughly embarrassed at this flirting display.  Huh.  Jade suddenly left Rodney's.  No clue why?  So Robert went home too.

Upon returning home Kennedy the dog showed up asking for attention from Robert. Being that Robert wants to raise 20 puppies or kittens he quickly began making friends with Kennedy.  Well, just when the "adopt" message should have come up, Kenndy left the lot.  *sigh*.

Out again???  Okie dokie.  This is Auntie Sharon asking Robert out.  Hm.

The went to Peerless Park.  Now, that woman in the red shirt was also at Rodney's and Robert actually had two bolts for her.  They had quickly made friends.  There is Rob's dad Mitch there in the red jacket.  Then his mom and Auntie Sharon, the plantsims.  The girl in the purple vest is Marylena Hamilton.

She had turned Robert down for "go steady" years ago but it seems that all is forgiven now.

Robert was pretty tired by now, having run out a couple of times.  Thought he would invite Jade over to thank her for pulling strings for him in his career.

A little football was in order! Turned out Jade was a big football fan!

Jade left after a while....then a couple more visitors came over.  Robert let them in...made GCS for everyone in case there was anyone who needed the count.  These guys hung around all evening and Robert finally got in bed around 1 AM forgetting he had to get up early to go to work.

But up, he was.  Popped right out of bed in green aspiration, and headed out to work.

Wishes upon arriving home:  Go hiking, be bff with Jade Thayer and Jane (Stacks) Dreamer, and catch fireflies.  Fears:  Be rejected for dance, be rejected for play with Kennedy the dog, and burn food.  Alrighty then.  Hike was locked in, then Robert headed inside to make some food.

A hamburger will do the trick...Oh looky....there are some leaves outside that need to be raked up!

Dang it!  burned the 'burger.  Hm.  Well might as well go for a hike, winning back the 500 pts of aspiration and breaking even.  What a sweet sentiment, found some sunflowers...named the same as his mother.  Robert felt a little sad over burning/wasting the burger, maybe a mountain vacation would make him feel better. (wish fulfilled).

Off to the mountains he went after all was showing a wish.  heh

The first thing he and Jade did was check in to Blau Hills Resort.  Separate beds, of course.  He immediately relayed the story of burning the hamburger....and how sad that he was not able to serve it.

Then it was off to dinner.  Now....it is obvious that Robert and Jade were together yet she was shown a different table.  I guess it is because they ere not on a "date" or "outing".

Jade has a good time.

Robert went on several tours, fulfilling wishes every time.  Even if he got chased by bees.

He learned out to slap dance.  (ugh..means it will happen constantly all over the neighborhood now).

Did some log rolling...he won that against Jade....

And bought souvenirs.  Did all the touristy stuff.

Then...Robert rolled Slow Dance With Sim.  Could it be he was finally feeling some romantic notions?

He and Jade fell in crush.  Hmmmmm  Now I had tried to not push toward any romantic interactions.  I really did.

And they became more comfortable together.   Oh my goodness but they are a cute couple!

But all too soon the vacation was over, and they headed back to Pleasantview.  Ah.

Who was waiting in the yard for Robert when he got out of the vacation shuttle?  Nobody but Kennedy the dog!  Woohoo!  Kennedy decided he didn't want to leave!  He wanted to live with Robert!!!  Okie dokie!

Sooo it was to the phone Robert went to find a female pooch to keep Kennedy company.

Enter Loretta Burb, from the Burb house when John was raising dogs.  Now, there are lots of pets nowadays in the Pleasantview pet pool  ASimWen has decided to take the dog who has been in the pool for the longest time....being the correct size and sex to be the mate of whom ever is looking for a mate.  I can only imagine what the pups of these two will look like!

Loretta was so glad to get out of the animal shelter!  Oh yes, they treated her very well there.  But it was sooo  great to be home now! Robert seemed really nice and she also had a great mate in Kennedy!  Life couldn't get any better for her!

Robert wanted to see his family...wanted to talk to them.  It was nice having the dogs and all...but there was nothing like seeing mom and dad.

Hadn't seen his  younger brother Louis in a long time.  It was great seeing him.

Lots of talking and laughing worked Robert right up into a good mood again.  Goodbye mom and dad....Robert has to get up early to go to work.  Be proud of your boy who is an officer in the Sim Military now!

Oh looky!  It is a String Me promotion!  I love those!  (click on the link *cough cough*) Robert did not have the skills to promote (lacked logic) but due to his friendship with Danielle he got promoted.  Whooo is this Danielle??

Ah that is who she is.  Robert invited her over to thank her for her help.  After all he has not had much time really to work on his skills for his job!  Jade gave him career help, and now Danielle.  The ladies like a man who makes $$$!

Oh my no sooner Robert kissed Danielle good-bye, the phone rang. It was Jade! She must have had women's intuition about Robert....  she invited him out on a date.  And so it was!  They went to the bowling alley to talk, dance, and have fun.  Robert showered Jade with compliments.

WHOOPS! ASimWen was careful to stay away from anything that would trip the "engagement" wish!  But they both threw it!!!!  Sometimes I don't know this game as well as I think I know it!  Well, these two Sims know their hearts!

*SIGH*  Oh well.  They are a cute couple.  She is a Knowledge Sim, but I have no idea what her LTW is.

And that is where we end this visit with Robert Wolosenko!

ODD PICS OUT  (that didn't fit anywhere in the story flow).  

Loretta Burb and Kennedy the Dog managed one litter of pups at the end of the week.  Two little boys named Miles and Stout.  The boys will hang around and grow up, then will go to the pet pool.  The mom and dad are working on another litter.

Robert used influence points twice to get townies to rake his leaves.

He got robbed....but Gordon King was caught and Robert got $5,500 from insurance for the painting that was nicked.

And Robert realized a very big wish (by accident) by making BFFs with Ida (Burb) McCarthy.

Summary:

Robert threw "Go Hiking" almost every day, and wanted to see and interact with his family.  Other than that his Family-type wishes centered around making friends with people he knew.  He did NOT throw any wishes for the dogs.  His fears were usually the dogs get sprayed, be rejected for this or that with the dogs or the women he was seeing.  When I saw "burn food" pop up, I grabbed it.

Ending wishes:  Go hiking, catch fireflies, catch butterflies, and slap dance. *sigh*  Fears:  Be rejected for love with Loretta Burb (dog), be rejected for play with Kennedy and Miles.

Next, we have yet another new lot.  That of Dr. Harry Burb!
