Family/Knowledge - Graduate 3

John was perm plat early on  because his aspiration meter was full.  Last round he realized his LTW of Raise 20 and became perm plat by all rights.  He is 82, and will have is Grim party this round.  It will be interesting to see who will inherit the roll of the neighborhood curmudgeon upon his passing.  John is the one who would push Sims around for peeking through the telescope.  As for that mysterious LTW, John has already graduated three from college so.....He is currently a Captain Hero.

Fortune/Knowledge - Become the Law

Jennifer is already perm plat too from having earned $100,000 years ago.  Not much to say about her, as she will also have her Grim Party this round.

Ida Burb

Family - Wants to reach Golden Anniversary

The last time we saw Ida, she was graduating from University.  She dated George McCarthy as a teen, he followed her to University where their romance continued and they became engaged early on.  Ida has a twin named Harry who was lovingly referred to as Dr. Burb in University because his goal in life is to be Chief of Staff.  He took up an apartment, we will see him later in the round.

First wishes:  Be friends with Abbey the dog and Quinn the cat, get silver in toy making, Quinn gets a job in show business, get a job in Education or Entertainment.

George McCarthy

Fortune - Wants to become a Business Tycoon

ASimWen has never played Georgie before, so this will be lots of fun.  And, the last time we saw him he was graduating from Uni in the same class as Ida.

First wishes:  The typical Fortune Sim wishes when there are pets in the house.  This is all for Quinn Goth the cat:  Get a job, get a job in Security, Entertainment, or Service.  Be friends with Abbey the dog, and tell an inside joke. 

Here is what happened last round:  It was a quick and relaxing play with only John and Jennifer in the house.  Both of them being perm plat meant letting them do basically what ever they wanted.  ASimWen did notice that John hadn't reached TOC yet in the law enforcement career. so that was taken care of.  It was just a matter of John making one more friend.  At the end of the week, everything was put in place to welcome Ida back home with her fiancee in tow.  Let's play!

John and Jennifer left for work right away.

George jokes around with Ida, telling her an inside joke, which let loose a bunch of other wishes for her....ending in woohoo.  Go them!

After a quick snooze, they hit the computer to look for jobs..not that any money was needed in this house!

George's came up!  And looky....as a fresh college graduate, he managed to land a job as president of a corporation.  

And so did Ida's, fulfilling a wish for her.  Then she spun up get a kitten or puppy!  Not unusual for a Family Sim!  She left for work almost right away.

John and Jennifer arrived home from work, and Jennifer promoted up to TOC a second time in this career.  She had demoted last round.  This fulfilled a nice wish for her.

John ran on into the house to catch 40 winks as he was about to keel over from exhaustion.  Jennifer had lingered outside to pet Abbey...and received an unwelcome visitor.  ASimWen honestly thought John would go first. Buh-bye Jennifer.

Look at all the orange headstones.  haha.  Cristy Stratton happened to be walking by a the time and witnessed the whole thing.  Apparently she and Jennifer were good friends..she cried and cried.  George hopped out of the shower to come out and cry...he hardly knew Jennifer.  John slept through it.

A nice amount spread around.

Ida arrives home from work at 11:00, acknowledging her mother's passing.  Then she discussed her hobby of fitness with George, and decided to go for a midnight jog, getting in four wishes before the end of the day.

Tuesday

This day was planned out to be George and Ida's wedding day, as everyone had the day off from work, John included.

Wishes:

George:  Blog about games, play a PC game, talk about hobbies, play marco polo, kiss, and influence someone to cook.  Now, George was a gamer in University...almost every single day, that was his wish.  Looks like that hasn't changed.

Ida:  Get a puppy, get silver in toymaking, talk about hobbies, go jogging, skating, and swimming.

George made it to the kitchen before the hired help and whipped out some pancakes for everyone.  Final plans were made for the last minute wedding.  John sure wanted to see a child of his married.  Ida and George were up for it.

Only close family was invited.  So that meant all Burbs...and nobody else....  An arch was hastily erected in the yard, and a cake placed on the kitchen table.  

Mr. and Mrs. George McCarthy.  Yes, ASimWen is old fashioned and likes to do a patriarchy.

  The polite clappers.....of course John who realized a nice wish...next representing his parents Komie and Lucy (Burb) Tellerman is Arthur Tellerman.  Then Joseph Burb, and his wife Anna (Broke) Burb. This marriage scenario had to be started over, as Lucy kept throwing bad errors every few seconds when she was on the lot.  So it was decided that Lucy and Komie would stay home, Arthur would attend then tell them all about the wedding later.
It was a beautiful wedding.  Woah look at that in right over Ida's shoulder in the cake picture.  It is Joseph Burb...doesn't he look a little....odd???

Yes, he has the pregnant waddle.  Back on the Broke lot last round, Joseph couldn't manage to get Anna pregnant, but the Aliens got him pregnant....

One more Burb gentleman on the right...almost managed to stay out of the photographer's eye.   This is Dr. Harry Burb, Ida's twin.

 No worries...John did not pass away during the wedding.  The wedding party wound down at 5 PM, and John's private Grim party happened at 6.  Goodbye John, you had a good life, and passed happy.

A few simoleons were doled out.  Woo!

Early Wednesday morning Georgie and Ida left for their honey moon, to Twiki Island.  Have no idea what fear George realized.  Going on vacay was Ida's wish.

Haha.  the waiter at the hotel looks like he just stepped off a spaceship.  Apparently George was wanting be alone...he sat at a different table.

Then it was time for some relaxation and sunbathing.....went on a tour...then decided to hit the hot springs.

George realized a wish to learn a new massage.  Hot stone massage it is!

Then time for the hot springs themselves.  Good times.  In the mean time Ida laid down in the hammock for some R & R.

***CHIMES***

Wooohhhh....George joined her for a 'lil woohoo.....couldn't get pregnant back at the house, but it worked fine here!  Thank you Risky!

From that point on Ida told everyone she met that she thought she was pregnant.  It was hard to get her out of the hotel because her needs would drop like a rock.

They did manage to make it to the old ruins to grab a bite....

And buy some souvenirs.  Soon it was check out, and the shuttle arrived to take them back to Pleasantview.

Ida laid down to get some rest.  Upon rising, her suspicions of pregnancy were correct.

New LTW - Become Chief of Staff

Georgie reached TOC after going to work only a couple of times...now there is only Ida in the house who needed wishes fulfilled.  Woo!

Ida's wishes centered around her husband...tell jokes to, appreciate, play....she is so easy.  Well after all she is a family Sim.  Easy to keep happy.

Life moved along.  Going to work every day, coming home, getting wishes fulfilled.  

Sandwiched in between all that, Abbey had her Grim party.  Buh-bye Abbey, you contributed a lot of dogs to help John realize his wish to raise 20, and to the Pleasantview adoption pool. Quinn the cat cried and cried.  Quinn was the 20th raised from a kitten pushing John to LTW realized and was allowed to stay instead of being sent back to Animal Control.  He had known Abbey all his life.

Oh my...skipping right to the baby birth.  ASimWen was asleep at the keyboard and didn't get pictures.  But oh boy does Ida look uncomfortable!

Hi there Chloe!  She has the pretty Burb brown eyes and hair...in fact I would almost say she is a carbon copy of her mother.  (Ida dyes her hair black).  Although, Chloe does carry recessive blonde hair from her dad.

Georgie was happy to finally become a dad.

Taking up the fitness mantel Ida held in University once again to get rid of baby fat...getting back into shape.  Wrapping up another wish!

Good for you, Ida....TOC.  This was not an LTW for her.  But done, nonetheless.  One thing that really helped both her and Georgie is the execuputter career reward Jennifer had won.  They were both able to develop out their charisma, easily.  woo.

Finally, Quinn Goth (in back) mated with Jill Goth...born many many rounds ago back at the Goth Mansion when Alexander was a teen.  She languished in Animal Control for a long time....until adopted by the Burbs.  It took all week for the two cats to get friendly enough with each other to make kittens.  We will see the babies next round.

And that is the end of our visit the the McCarthys!  (Burbs).

Ida's ending wishes:  Quinn Goth learns to come here, go skating, get a kitten or a puppy, go on a mountain vacation, buy a birdcage, and be friends with the other cat Jill Goth.

Summary:  Well, we saw both John and Jennifer...and their dog Abbey, meet Grim.  It happens to all Sims!  John and Jennifer's youngest daughter Ida married teen townie George McCarthy to carry on in the Burb homestead.   A honeymoon trip to Twiki island saw Ida get pregnant with the couple's daughter, Chloe.  Both Ida and George reached TOC in their careers, turning Georgie perm plat.  A new cat was brought in to mate with Quinn Goth, that being Jill Goth to keep the adoption pool brimming with new adoptees to keep the animal enthusiasts happy in the neighborhood. Chloe will have her birthday straight away next round.   And that is it! 

Next up is the Oldie lot...Grass and Vampiress Kari.  Grass is a PlantSim, and is the youngest from Coral's second husband plantsim Leo Wilkie who had an LTW to marry off 6.  In this case....I let the houshold keep the name Oldie, so it wouldn't be lost to the neighborhood. 

And remember...it is only a game....RL family comes first. Spay or neuter your pets...and adopt from your local shelter.
