Pleasantview Round 8 - Eddie Dreamer- ALTERNATE TIMELINE

 Wow man....what the heck is going on here?  Where is my apartment?  Where I used to live across the hall from my buddy Harry?  Why am I here?  I had just moved out of mom and dad's house to a nice apartment!  No hot tub...no Versilius!  What is Pollination Tech doing to me?  Time has rolled back!

This is a TRAILER!!!!!

The resident Pleasantview alien Eddie Dreamer.  How did he come about???  Darren Dreamer begat Dirk Dreamer.  Dirk Dreamer begat Frank Dreamer.  Frank Dreamer married (grown up) teen townie Nichole Thompson.  Nichole was abducted and Eddie was the result. 

Eddie did not go to university, just took what he could get in his backpack from the Dreamer house and moved out to his own place.

The last time we saw Eddie, he was busy growing up and moving out of Frank and Nichole's house at the Dreamer homestead.  He had worked the Gamer career as a teen, and promoted right up to Platform Jumper upon aging up.

Now, besides going to Pleasantview High and working his after school gamer job, Eddie was also a bit of a neighborhood Don Jaun.  He dated these girls:

Some of them were wishing well dates, as being a Pleasure Sim Eddie threw lots  of wishes to date.  And so it was!  However he has no thoughts about settling down.  At least not yet.

So what are his wishes fears...on this day of ALTERNATE REALITY?

Generic - Meet someone, entertain, talk, and play with.  Fears:  Pets Alegra, Andy Goth and Barbie getting sprayed by a skunk.  

One thing is the same, grandpa Dirk is gone.  Oh man, oh man oh man!  Hope I still have my job, and the babes!  Well I guess I will find out.  Whew.

Might as well get this place cleaned up before heading out to work.  Don't know what Pollination Tech was thinking.  This place is filthy.

Well, work hasn't changed.  Got promoted to Power Leveler, and Sarah Lee came over to visit.  Not my type, but she is nice.

Pollination Tech...WHERE ARE YOU?  WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME?  I LOST A SON!

Well this is different than living in the apartment.  Lots of kitties come by.  Maybe I can get one of them to stick around to keep Alegra company.

Wednesday

Dang I could use some company myself before heading out to work.  Maybe Sarah will come over.  (threw a wish to ask Sim out on date).

The date with Sarah didn't go so well, but Lakshmi called me after work for a date.  We went to Games of Glory, my favorite place!  I felt like I fell head over heels in love.  

Oh err...hi Emma!  Apparently Emma finds Eddie attractive even when he is in the arms of another woman.  But in this Alternate Time line she shows no jealousy at all. Oh Lakshmi...would you, will you?

I couldn't help myself, it suddenly came to me that Lakshmi was the love of my life and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.  The first thing ASimWen did was check the season.  It was the last day of winter.  Eddie and Lakshmi have a three bolt attraction, and they BOTH rolled get engaged.  In the Alternate Timeline, this was a legitimate engagement wish.  Oh Pollination Tech!  What have you done!

It was back to my place to seal our engagement.  I cannot wait....I love this woman!  And she feels the same about me!  Lakshmi made selectable, just for funsies.

***CHIMES***

ASimWen cannot believe it, all the woohooing that Emma did in the Alternate Timeline and she was not blessed by Risky with a child.

Need just a little more smarts, and I will have this job maxed out....need to make lots of simoleons so Lakshmi and I can start our life together.

Oh the horror!  Pollination Tech...why are you torturing me?  You are my biological father after all...

**SOB!**  What have I done to deserve this.  I just want to live.  With Lakshmi.  That is all. I need something to cheer me up.

Lakshmi made a trip to the hair dresser then on to the boutique for some new clothes. 

Lakshmi:  We have a baby coming soon Eddie.

Eddie:  If it is a boy, I want to name him Versilius.

New LTW:  50 1st Dates.  Don't think so.

Coworker Amar Walter gifted Eddie a Soma Wall-Eye Large Flat Screen Panel Television.  It is priced at 8,000 simoleons.  Welp if one is going to have friends, they need to be this kind.  This Alternate Reality is treating Eddie pretty well.  

Lakshmi returns home from work, and the baby has made himself or herself known. Look who came home with her!  Emma!  Hi Emma~!

Lakshmi: Emma, it may be good for you to know that Eddie loves me now, and we have moved in together.  We have a child due in a few months.

Emma: *choked up*  No!  No!

Emma: Eddie can just drop dead! I saw you two together at Games of Glory. He is just a cheater! You can have him and as for YOU. You can drop dead too! Good luck, you two were made for each other! *Emma storms off the lot*

Was a quiet day.  Lakshmi and Eddie spent their time reading, resting and eating.  Lakshmi made a few phone calls to shore up those relationships, and began reading up on physiology.  

Monday

Eddie:  Pollination Technician!  I guess you knew what you were doing.  I have a love of my life here, a good job, and a nice home.  I have a baby on the way.  Thank you.  Oh yum, this hamburger is delicious.

The Alternate Timeline for Eddie and Lakshmi is complete, and now will become their reality.  Stay tuned for the rest of those who are caught up in this tricky web.

Ending fears/wishes:

Eddie:  Buy a bubble blower, flirt, talk about hobbies, and ask Sim on a date.  Eddie is now perm plat, and will not have his wishes fulfilled consciously.  Fears:  Be rejected for flirt, date, and dance.

Emma:  Play kicky bag, freestyle for tips, ask Sim on date, and buy a bubble blower.  Fears:  Be rejected for ask Sim on date, for Sim outing and for toss football.  ???

So what are his wishes fears...on this day of moving into he new apartment to start his adulting life?

Well Eddie wishes for :  Praise cat Ginger Oldie, and entertain, talk to and play with anyone.  Fears:  All these pets get sprayed by a skunk:  Alegra (pictured above with him), Andy Goth the cat, and Barbie the dog.

He looked the small place over and decided he liked it.  Not a hard decision.  There was plenty of space for Alegra too.  He brought her with him from the Dreamer house.

And he was ready to begin life on his own!!!!

First order of business was to get a mate for Alegra.  A visit to Pleasantview Pets found a tuxedo cat named Al.  Hi Al!  Al is already thinking about about Alegra.  A peek at the fish fulfilled a simple wish for Eddie.  OOOhh who is that stalking him from the behind side???  It is Melissa Fancey!

Now, Eddie had thrown "Ask Sim On Date" while on this outing to shop for a pet.  He also threw WooHoo In Bed.  *locked in*.  Melissa and Eddie have two bolts of attraction...and the date proceeded easily getting in Eddie's wishes for the day.

Upon returning home, the woohoo wish needed to be fulfilled.  Why?  Because in ASimWen's neighborhood, woohoo is always played!  Of course Eddie immediately called Melissa, but somehow she was suddenly too busy to see Eddie.  *ghosted????*

So checking his little black book Eddie began going down the list.  Everyone was busy!  Except this one...Margaret Caliente!  OOohh looks like she is pregnant with "someone's" baby...No matter!  The last time Eddie and Margaret saw each other was when Margaret was working on fulfulling her LTW of 20 WooHoos. It was done......then off to work Eddie had to go.  He was completely and blissfully happy!

Yeah go you Eddie!  Eddie now needed a logic skill point to advance any more in his job.  But first he made buddy buddy with the co-worker who came home with him.  It was a great outing!  Eddie had another friend.

Eddie *completely on his own* headed to his 'scope to get that logic skill point.  Uh-huh.  Oh my.... Another unplanned Sim child in a tiny living space in Pleasantview!

Eddie doesn't believe he is seeing what he is seeing!  Eddie saw a flying saucer which incidentally took him for an extra-terrestrial ride!

Shenanigans whilst Eddie was wondering about the universe:

The co-worked lugged this big water fountain over to Eddie's apartment and left it.  Hmmm....

Al decided it was time to take over the bed..... after all...Eddie probably wasn't coming back.  Might as well take the best bed.

About three hours later Eddie returned home and was unceremoniously spat out onto the pavement.  How rude!

***CHIMES***

Haha the alien got abducted.  lol  Will be interesting to see where Eddie plans to put the baby stuff in his small bachelor apartment.

Eddie's abduction didn't dampen his enthusiasm for the Gaming career.  Getting that logic point that led to the abduction assisted in this promotion.  Eddie was happy.  Lots of $$$.  However he was completely and utterly exhausted.  We know why. *wink wink*

The phone rang.  OOohh it was one of Eddie's exes....Ida (Burb) McCarthy inviting Eddie out...  okay!  Off to Games of Glory.

Wooo what an interesting assortment of potential troublemakers.  The pivotal person is Emma Copur.  She has dated Ricky (mispelled) Cormier, Eddie, and *probably* George McCarthy.  (This is very bad being that George is married to Ida...the one who instigated this gathering).  Believe Emma may have dated the townie in the purple shirt, Dickson Fleig.  He grew up along with Emma's brother Thomas.  The person who might care a whit about any of this is not here, Emma's beau Arthur Tellerman.  Away at school.  We also see a couple of moms here.  Emma's mom Ivy (Copur) Lothario and Arthur Tellerman's mom Lucy (Burb) Tellerman.

It never ceases to amaze me the groundwork this game lays to create chaos.  ASimWen rubbed her palms together in anticipation.

Eddie threw an immediate wish to play chess.  Done.  Emma came over and sat with him....oh my...but it seems none of her exes are taking a big interest in her.  (ASimWen is slightly disappointed).

Eddie is now very tired and about to pass out.  But he decided to see who...at this outing...was worth maybe spending some time with in the future.  OOohh look there is Angela Broke.  Whuuut?  Eddie is attracted to both Emma and her mom.  That is just weird.

Alrighty then....Eddie really needed to get out of there.  If he were showing a fear of passing out ASimWen might of let him stay to do that...but nope.  He wasn't.  He managed to fulfill a play chess wish, but that was it.  He ends the outing and calls a taxi, going home.

Eddie had a good night's sleep then decided to work on that logic some more.  Oh looky. Little X is making himself/herself known.  Eddie is surprised!  I guess so!

Go you Eddie!  Promoting right on up the Gaming ladder of Success!  Guess the exhausting outing, then walking to work in your pregnant state didn't slow you down any.

As is usual with Romance or Pleasure Sims, Eddie rolled "Ask Sim on a Date" right away after putting in hours at work.  Whoooo did he call?  (not Ghostbusters).

Lakshmi Cameron.  Needless to say, all wishes in this day.  As the date was winding down, the phone rang with Sims nagging that they had not heard from Eddie in a while.

Now....that Thomas Lothario was thinking right...Eddie had been abducted by aliens!  hah.

Al the Tuxedo Cat had not quite given up the bed he commandeered when Eddie got abducted.  He slept on it every chance he got.  After eating a dinner of hotdogs and taking a nap, Eddie woke up with the worse stomach ache.

OMG OMG OMG omg.....what is happening.....this should not be happening to a kewl guy like me!

Where did that thing go.....whaaaa???  Hmmm..

What a cutie patootie!

Eddie was smitten by his son.  Named him Versilius, Latin for "Flier".  After all Versilius flew into his life, sort of.

Now I want to point out something here.  It is obvious Versilius inherited the blue eyes from Granny Nichole.  I ran the DNA cheat:

Shows he has human eye color, and red hair as a recessive.  Again, from Granny Nichole. Family tree:

This shows Versilius (clear to the left) is also Eddie's brother.

I guess because the "father" was Pollination Tech.  Hm.  I feel like this should be different looking.  Maybe because I have a MOD for pregnancy for all on abductions?  I might take that out.  I was just trying to sort out how Versilius received blue eyes.  (Yes, there has been five aliens born in Pleasantview).

After giving Versilius a bottle and putting him down for nap, Eddie threw a wish to get in the hot tub.  Oh my he didn't like getting a visitor.  This is Harry Burb...or Dr. Harry Burb as he was referred to in University.  He wants to be Chief of Staff.  Harry took the apartment next to Eddie, and will be visited this round.

JOB SNAFU

Welp, back to work as normal as normal can be.  Eddie hired a nanny to look after little Versilius, and headed out.  First thing he had to make a big decision, as Guild Lead and all.

Bad idea.  OOohhhh...  that hurt.

This upset Eddie alot.  He was demoted!  He was looking forward reaching TOC today.  Will have to wait until next round!

Luckily Eddie bounced right back to a good mood by asking Melissa Fancey on a date.  And she was more than up for it!  Needless to say, all wishes in, plus a couple extra.  Right in the middle of this date, Versilius' birthday notice popped.  The date was put on hold, and a birthday cake brought out.

Call me a little Sim-Nutty, but I think this little alien dressed in his tux and all is a rather distinguished looking alien.  Versilius wishes - Learn to potty, walk, and talk, and learn a nursery rhyme.

Once Versilius was bathed and put to bed, it was off to the hot tub with Melissa as a wish to woohoo had been thrown.

Ok....so Harry Burb stood there and watched the whole time.  Caught glimpses of him in the cut scene standing there with his drink in hand watching.  Voyeurism, much?

Versilius wants his toddler skills, managing potty and talking straight away.  Plus getting lots of wishes realized for skills:

The walking skill was learned too, and Eddie found himself feeling pretty proud of his boy.  Who looked so much like himself, he really didn't think he would have a child who looked like him.

It had been a day that was all about Versilius.  Daddy needed some wishes fulfilled.  Of course it was to ask a Sim on a date.  This time it was Sophie Miguel.  She promised to help him promote back up in his job.  What are good friends for!?

And now we reach the end of our visit with new single dad Eddie Dreamer.  It was not in my wildest dreams for Eddie to get abducted.  heh but I am glad he did!  Versilius is a cutie pie!

ODD PIC OUT

Al and Alegra contributed 5 kittens to the Pleasantview adoption pool, and are pregnant again. We will see those babies next round. Yes, Eddie has an apartment with a balcony...plenty of room for both an outside house for the cats and the telescope.

Summary

Well Eddie rented his apartment with nothing in mind except to raise cats and work job after job, and to raise cats.  Did I say he wanted to raise cats? ASimWen had no plans for his lineage to continue.  But the game had other ideas.  His ending wishes:  Reach TOC in the gamer career, win a dance contest, get an MP3 player, and get a stereo.  Fears:  Sophie Miguel or Melissa Fancey becomes a witch and lose a dance contest.  I really should have looked at fears more...Eddie was so busy that I didn't even think about it!

Versilius:  Wishes:  Get a logic and Charisma point, learn a nursery rhyme, and be read to.  Fears:  Throw up, death of a relative, and fire.
