Pleasantview Round 8 - Emma Copur

Ahhhh!   A new lot to visit!  This is always fun when playing a long lived neighborhood.  This is Emma Copur, daughter of Don Lothario and townie-turned-wife Ivy (Copur) Lothario.  My oh my but do those two make pretty kids.  And looks like Emma has a metal friend there!  Let's get on with reminders and introductions!

Pleasure - Wants to Have 50 Dream Dates

The last time we saw Emma, she was visiting her love, Arthur Tellerman at University.  He was more than happy to help her along with her LTW of 50 Dream Dates.  Emma's mother Ivy Copur was invited by Don Lothario to move in with him many Sim moons ago.  This dear girl was born before Ivy and Don had a chance to say "I do!".  Thus her last name of Copur.  It appears that Emma may be perm plat, but we shall see. 

First wishes:  Hustle pool, entertain, play with, and marry Aurthur Tellerman (locked in).

Fears:  Death of these past boyfriend:  Eddie Dreamer, Ricky Cormier, and Arthur Tellerman.  Don't hardly see any of that happening!

But gosh, who is Manny and how did he come to live with Emma?

Pleasure - Wants to Become a Celebrity Chef

The last time Manny was "seen" he was built by Cassandra Goth on her own death day.  Cassie then invited Emma over and gifted Manny to her.  At the time Emma had no idea why Cassie did this.  But Manny will come in handy for Emma.

Not sure I want to fulfill wishes for a robot.  Nope.  But I will attempt to fulfill his LTW.

The first order of business was to wake up Manny.  Emma unpacked him and flipped the switch.  Ooh look at that gold badge in robotics.  Not sure that will come in handy.  However the maxed out skills in cooking, mechanical and cleaning surely will.  Emma tends to be lazy.

Then it was off to town to see what was up?  Emma couldn't believe she did not have a flip phone.  Right.  Oh look who showed up!  MOM!  Nice to see her, yak, yak, yak.  Important to keep family close.

Then it was clothes shopping (notice the new outfit) and meeting new people.  Oh my.  Emma spun up "woohoo in bed" while on the outing.  And it was found..that she is NOT perm plat.  She managed to fulfill minor wishes talking, ect.  That was out of the way.  Now to go home and get that woohoo!

The woohoo wish was still showing when she arrived back home.  She called her love, Arthur Tellerman.  He came all the way from University to see her.

***CHIMES***

Ya gotta be kidding me!  First time in her new place, she gets pregnant!  And it is a super tiny place!  The smallest condo in Pleasantview!  *sigh*  Thank you Risky!

At any rate, after the woohoo, then Emma and Arthur worked in a dream date for Em's LTW.  That put her up to 20 Dream Dates.

In the meanwhile, Manny checked the computer and nothing in Culinary was available.  And he made 4 different dishes... most of which was put in the fridge as leftovers.  Manny loved to cook.

It wasn't long, Emma soon showed the baby mamma symptoms.  Since she was showing a wish to have a party, she invited her brother Thomas over, and of course the baby daddy, Arthur Tellerman.  She broke the news and Art was happy.  Thomas stood stoically by.  Oh boy.  He was going to be an uncle.

Roof raiser party....skinny girl...pregnant girl.  Go you, Emma!

So what about Manny?  Manny cooks.  There must be 20 roasted turkeys in the fridge.  Thank goodness:

Manny's desired career came up on the computer!  What is gonna be ruff?  He has to study up on Logic and Creativity for this job.  Maybe he can steal skills from other Sims...!  Hmmmm...

Emma decided to work on her LTW of 50 Dream Dates and called up Arthur.  Easy-peasy.  In fact they managed to work in at least a couple of Dream Dates.  It is so easy with these two.  They are a three bolt couple.  Needless to say, she is getting more than three wishes a day.  More than 5 wishes a day.  This is a special circumstance!  And besides, she is soooo happy all the time!

Manny needed to work on Creativity for his job.  It was fitting that he should provide musical entertainment for Em and Art's date.  Emma loved it.

Ah.  Then the subject was broached.  Emma wanted to get engaged, since she was having Art's baby and all.  Oh my.  Art loved her enough...but he still needed to think about it for a bit.

Em's pregnancy passed without incident, even though she showed fears of passing out or having an "accident".  When Manny wasn't at work to bring home the bacon  to support Emma and her growing baby, he was home cleaning up after her and skilling up.  Emma wasn't the most neat Sim in the world.  One day whilst Manny was at work, Em managed to prepare and serve omelets, fulfilling a wish to serve food.  Usually Manny beat her to it.

Then the day came.  It was time for Emma and Art's baby to be born.  Yes, Em and Art had just spent the night together...and he was still hanging around.

Welcome Serenity!  

Emma and Arthur were mom and dad to a beautiful little girl.  What was Art doing during the labor and birth???

Ummmm....yeah.  He took no interest in little Serenity's entrance into the world.

However he did have a big interest in helping Emma along with her LTW of 50 dream dates~!

Happy Birthday Serenity!

Serenity's dad called right after she blew out her candles. Wanted to take mom out on a date. And so it was! Manny was happy to keep an eye on Serenity whilst Emma went out.

Emma and Art went to the park, and who was there, but the Contessa. No trouble from this vamp thank goodness although she did "BLEH!" Emma once and freaked her out.

Every dream date ends in woohoo.  Thank goodness there has only been one pregnancy.

Arthur finally coughed up the funds and brought Emma a nice date gift, after so many dream dates.  And good thing too, because Manny had bad luck on investments at work, and lost $20,000.  Emma only had $17,000 in the bank so they went broke real fast.  After selling this Dance-O-Sphere and a couple more checks for Manny, the household funds were back up to $8,000 in no time.

Serenity kept all the usual toddler wishes...after winning all the toddler skills, it was to play with mom, have mom talk to her, ect.  Toddlers are so easy to keep happy.  Being a Pleasure/Pop Sim, this was very easy for Emma to do.

Speaking of Serenity, she has the Burb brown eyes thanks to great grandpa John.  She has her grandpa Don's black hair, and dusky complexion.  Being an Aries, she is a grouchy Pop Sim.

How did things wrap up for Manny?  Well wishes weren't fulfilled for him unless it was to get him in gold aspiration so he could wear the skilling hat.  He also romanced every co-worker he brought home to get a fast friend, and hopefully to get free promotions and more money on the job.

And it worked...he gained one promotion and one raise in pay thanks to grateful coworkers.

He finished out the week as a Restaurateur.  He should promote right on up to Celebrity Chef next round.

In the mean while, Arthur Tellerman (son of Lucy (Burb) Tellerman and Komie Tellerman) and Emma will keep on dating until they finally tie the knot.  Then...they will continue dating until there are 50 in for Emma.  At the end of this round, she has 27 dream dates.

Ending wishes/fears:

Emma:  Wishes: Be BFF with Manny and her Mom Lucy, marry Arthur (locked in) and meet someone new.  Fears:  Lose a dance contest, death of Eddie Dreamer and Ricky Cormier.  To be honest, I had stopped looking at her fears because it was always 'Death of Someone'.

Serenity:  Wishes:  Get Logic four, play with/get tickled by Mom, and talk to Mom.  Fears:  Throw up, see a ghost, and relative breaks up.  ???  See a ghost?  She is just a toddler.  How would she know about ghosts.
